YES! PRODUCT OF HIGH QUALITY
It is common for these items to take some time to arrive.
There are no lights and no sound in the room. It's a Minecraft replica of a diamond sword, which is one of the best and most difficult swords to obtain in the game. Only for roleplaying and dressing up. My son has one, and it's one of his favorite toys even after all these years. It's made of plastic, isn't sharp, and is hollow, so even if he hits something with it by accident, it won't cause much damage.

It claims to be an official product, but I have an official sword from Target (in purple) that looks nothing like this. The official one is made by Mattel, and after three months of use, it is still in good condition. We just got this diamond sword, and the paint is already peeling off of it. The sword, an imitation minecraft sword made by a company called Disguise, appears to have been painted by hand.
He noticed one that was illuminated, but it was too heavy for him. This is the one I found, and it's a steal! He can play with it because it's a good size, good quality, and lightweight.
After nearly six months of combat with this sword, my son still has it.
He's smitten with this sword, and he's been since he first took it out of the box. Over the years, we've gotten him some pretty cool stuff, but we've never gotten a reaction like this. It's almost as if he's transformed into He-Man. Man, and now he "possess[ess[ess[ess[ess[ I'm so glad we were able to complete it before the delivery restrictions were imposed. He appears to be in a great deal of joy.
e. , pounding the crap out of the house's walls, is not acceptable. Kid enjoys playing "real life minecraft" because it keeps him away from the computer, but using it to "chop wood," i. e. pounding the crap out of the house's walls, is not a good trade off.
It's small and light, making it a breeze to use. It looks enough like a minecraft sword in play/for Halloween to pass for a diamond minecraft sword. The quality, on the other hand, is a little suspect. It's a battle of painted vs. colored plastic. When we first opened the package, there were some color irregularities in the paint, as well as dots of rough little spots where dirt or something else had become stuck in the paint. Now that my son has played with it a little bit, nothing too rough, some of the paint has chipped off, revealing a dark blue underlying color - I'm not sure if it's the primer or the color of the plastic beneath the paint that's causing the problem. I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be. That's all I really care about because it made my son happy enough.
We bought this for a Halloween costume, and it's held up well over time. The kids used to play with it as a sword, and because it's so hard and jagged, they always wound themselves or someone else. However, it is ideal as a costume prop.
This is not the case. My son already has two of these, and this is a cheap imitation. In the paint, there's even a fingerprint.
