There is a tiny screw in the handle that needs to be removed in order to open the battery compartment, if I remember correctly (I gave it away to a child after using it).
As a matter of course, there is magic. )*br>(I couldn't help myself. The video still does nothing other than light up and make a noise (per the product description). Even so, it's a hit with kids, since it's Harry Potter's wand after all

My son decided he wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween this year, so I bought him this accessory. There is no question that the wand is plastic and not of high quality, but for the price, it is highly effective. As soon as the batteries were inserted, the unit began to work. In spite of my son's efforts to run around the house waving it like crazy and throwing it all over the house, it still seems to work because, as every parent knows, kids tend to "pitch" things when they are supposed to hold onto In the end, what matters is the fact that my son loves it.
In the absence of any quality control, the product was a failure. One I got was free, but it did not perform as expected, so I decided to buy a brand Well, I opened it and tested it before wrapping it up, but it didn't work. There was nothing to report. That's fine. In order to return it, I go back. It was allowed by Amazon to remain as it was during the holiday season and I am certain that they did not wish to see this stuff returned. After opening it up to find out what was wrong, I decided to look inside. When I realized the battery unit was loose and moving around the cavity, I thought that I could fix it. The answer is yes! Once it was sealed up, I went on to. Not a thing. This is hilarious. What a waste of time and energy.
As an accessory for my son's Harry Potter costume, I ordered this wand. It is not possible to put the batteries into the battery compartment - It's almost as if the compartment is too large. As soon as I finally got it to work, the tip did light up and make noise when it was I feel the wand is of extremely cheap quality. Ultimately, it might (hopefully) work for one night, but the money is not worth it. The purchase of another one is not feasible for me.
In order to get to the battery compartment, I had to physically break into it. Screws are an absolute pain to get out of (and I didn't because as I mentioned I ended up breaking into one of them). Despite sound quality, swishing the wand to make it sound works well. The tip of the wand is plain clear plastic and looks rather ugly too - it looks cheap and looks somewhat cheap. It would be nice if the wand were all brown. I had plans for a Harry Potter costume for my daughter, but it ruined everything. Although not the best of things, it's not the worst either. If it let me, I would rate it 5 stars.
In addition to being hollow, it exhibits signs of wear and tear The weight of the robot is very light. In rough play, I don't see it lasting. In addition to serving its purpose for my child's needs, it would probably be a waste of money if you are looking for something that your little one will hit objects with.
The wand was purchased as a gift for my three-year-old The year is My daughter, who loves Harry Potter and creates fake spells, is obsessed with Harry Potter. In addition to its decent packaging and usage of standard-size batteries, the wand is The battery in a watch should be the right size rather than tiny Ones that are the right size. an advantage, since there were small batteries on the previous wand, and the replacement was tedious and expensive. Waving it does light it up and cause it to make sounds There are three different sounds, but they're generally generic, and sound rather lame. The electronic components (light and sound) have a considerably cheaper build quality than the overall construction. In my experience, for the wand to make sound and light up, one would need to apply a fairly strong and swift wave, even for an adult. This made my daughter a little frustrated. Afterwards, the lighting and sound components stopped working consistently after a week or two. There are times when the sound will come on, and there are times when A blue moon, if you will, is the only time the light comes on. Having a product fail like this after just a week was disappointing. Final verdict The wand is fun to play with but not as much fun if you take out the light and sound. You also have to deal with defective electronic components.
This is the favorite game of my 9 year old son! In addition to lighting up and making magic sounds, it has motion detection. It works intermittently when motion is detected. A good way to create bubbles is to smack the wand. I do not suggest very often using this wand for direct hitting as its construction is not strong enough to cope with that much impact. We bought this to go with my son's Halloween costume since I didn't want him to lose his Universal Studios wand. As a costume accessory, this will work fine and he swears he will still have fun with it even if it stops working and making noises. The unit does not have an on/off switch, which would have been convenient.
It is a waste of money to buy this. I've seen plastic junk like this before. The item rattled when we got it. So my kid was pleased that it could light up and make cool sounds. There was no sound for about a week after that. There is no light, but it does still come on. We came up with a better wand by making one out of a stick we found. The thick and bulky wand made it difficult to create an HP wand that looked realistic. It's much better to use a stick and some brown craft paint than this thing. Lights are not even important to him because he isn't aware it's on.
