I am amazed at how exactly this wand mimics the original! This is the book I bought for my son to take to the Fantastic Beasts premier and he loved it! There was a lot of detail included, and the weight was just like a real wand (not The staff are devout Potterphiles, so we highly recommend learning to use.
Certificate was not sent, and the box was very different from what was shown on the picture, it was a regular blue box, and the material felt cheap. I am not sure if I got bad luck since I looked at all the other reviews and everyone seems to have received what they expected. The magic spell was a Christmas gift for a loved one. I am super disappointed in it.
It is absolutely wonderful to have a variety of wands to choose from. The boxes come in a good quality with a convenient way to store them. Now that I have purchased two of these wands, I have given them as gifts to my sister in law. The wands are heavier duty and of higher quality than anything else she has used previously. The price is right if you are a fan of HP. It is worth it to spend the money.
I believe the replica is a good buy for the (slightly hefty) price. Although it appears to be quite pricey (the majority of the price could be attributed to the franchise in question), it is actually not a cheap product. I really like the detail on it and how well it is weighted. I would keep the packaging as a storage case because it is beautiful and deserves to be kept. There was a lot of fun to be had.
