I'm looking for a pair of sneakers for my 6-year-old son, who weighs 45 pounds and stands 46 inches tall. Do you have any suggestions for sizes?

I'm pretty sure it's a size 6, but I'm not sure. For a 13-year-old, I ordered a size 20 that was just a smidgeon too big.

Is there a mesh lining?

There are no linings on these. My son does not like mesh liners and instead prefers to wear ethicas underneath, so these are ideal for him. This suit is one of his favorites!

Is there a drawstring or a button on the inside of the waistband?

No, it isn't movable. br>There's only a small tie string in the front, so you'd have to be pretty precise with the waist sizing.

Is there a measurement for the inseam?

The inseam of the shorts is 5 inches.

Colors and fabric are beautiful, but the size is a little large

My son loves the shorts, but I had to order two or three pairs just to get the sizing right; he usually wears a size 6/7, but I had to get him a size 4 to fit him properly. The size of these is enormous.

I ordered a size 6 for my almost 7-year-old, and they were a little big for him, but they have elastic pulls in the waistband to tighten them up, so they should last a few summers!.

We bought a 4t for our 3 1/2-year-old who weighs 40 pounds. It's a little big, but it'll be fine for the season. When wet, a polka dot pattern appears. The mesh liner is black, and that's my only gripe.

Shorts are very nice

It accomplishes its goal. My only reservation is that the insides of these should not be stitched to prevent rash while surfing. It's a good thing there's an inside string to keep it in place.
