It's not exactly sure, but I doubt it's true. Approximately 4'8" and 80 pounds is the height and weight of my kid.
There is no way to remove it. I think it adds a very crisp and elegant look to the suit.

This little burgandy blazer was a purchase I made for my daughter to wear in halter classes at the horse show. It is very difficult to find a girls blazer. However, I returned it due to the fact that the blazer was really nice. When she tried to slide her arms through the sleeves, the lining of the sleeves clutched tightly to the cuff and appeared to bunch up out of the cuff. There was some sort of gripping sensation in the lining. If you think about it on a sweaty kid at a horse show, you can see how that would be a nightmare. It didn't matter to her that she is a tall skinny size 8 the jacket fit her perfectly. There may have been an issue with the sleeves if they were a size bigger. As a whole, it was a surprisingly good little jacket.
My plan was to order a size bigger so it would fit next year, but I doubt it will work out. It was the perfect length for him right out of the bag, and the midsection was just slightly too snug for him to button up He is neither too fat nor too thin). Although, it does look great on him, and it was a lot less expensive than some of the other jackets I compared it with. Upon receiving my order, I found it folded and packaged in plastic inside a soft-sided box A two-sided envelope with padding on one side. A good protective layer was used to protect the jacket, but it needed to be ironed before wearing. (Almost anything to escape ironing, but this obviously had to be done. Pockets are still sewn shut I can't say the situation is alarming, but it is something you want to consider and take care of before you let your child wear the item. Overall, I would rate it a 4. 5 out of 5 due to My purchase would probably have been canceled if it had been known that the midsection would be too tight to button reasonably, but it did look great unbuttoned, even without buttons, and was affordable and fast.
It's a little big but he has some room to grow into it (I bought it a little big so he could grow into it), and fit is pretty true to size. In general, true fitting 4T shirts and jackets fit my 4at like they do most other sizes. Overall, this is a much better quality than I anticipated it's a heavy bag that looks to be sturdy enough to withstand wear and tear.
There were a lot of things I liked, but my son is fat, so it wasn't the right size for him.
I liked too much, good materials, good color, thanks to the seller.
This jacket is decent, slim fitting and well made. The snazzy lining of the jacket appealed to my son, who wore it to 3rd grade picture day because he liked how it made him look. This did not cause any issues for Mom. This is a win for me. To allow my son to wear the jacket for the entire year, I would have liked the arms to be a little longer. Even though I have the option of taking it somewhere for alterations, the price is typically more than the price of the jacket itself.
I compared these jackets with those at big box stores and found this jacket had a great value in light of the fact that it is likely to be worn just a few times before it is outgrown. Both the look and the fit were pleasing to him. It was great that he was in the same style as.
This is a great product! I ordered a size 6 for my four year old, but it was just to small for him (which is why I got it in a 3 year old size). I will order another one in the next size up in case it fits him in a larger one.
