What is the purpose of the flap pockets? Are they merely decorative or do they have a functional purpose?
There's no real functional purpose to them, and the blazer is extremely well made.
Can you see the color as it appears?
I would say that's pretty I think one shade lighter would be appropriate.

Gifted to my younger brother, this product was supposed to be useful. His first one, a size 14, was so small that it wasn't even close to fitting. In my brother's case, at 12, he wears a size 12 but even then we needed to order a size 16 because it fits just.

For my son, who is 7 years old, I ordered a size 8. I had to have the sleeves altered at the cleaners because they were a bit too long. My favorite thing about this blazer is its feel. The casual look takes it to the next level.
