As a result of my panicked thinking the buttons on my order would be too shiny, I ordered a different one. A number of people complemented my son on the jacket, which looked great. It was a hit with the buttons and really added to the outfit. The fit was good It's not a bad idea to order a size larger.
It runs a bit large though. Those were the first items I ordered after my house and home were sold We were expecting our order to arrive at the last minute and it was late. There is a slight size difference. My 3 year old son who wears size 3T in most brands is a tall for his age and wears size 3T in this size. Despite this, the size 6 was way too long in the sleeves for my 6 year old son (who has a normal height and build and usually wears a size 6) As I tried to remove the designer name label without ripping the sleeve fabric, I had difficulty getting it off.
