The waist does not come in the size advertised, but it is a size smaller than the listed waist. It would not button in the front even though my 9 yr old wears an 8/10 in every other brand. I went a size larger so he could get more use out of it, but it wouldn't button up. He could probably pull it off with his very, very slim brother, but if they aren't that small, buy 1. The size has grown by two

There is no doubt that this garment has a slim fit given the long sleeves. A size 10 shirt that I bought for my son in a size 8 was not going to button. Regardless of the size difference, I had to return it since the shirt was too large even though it was a size bigger than yours

It was great that it was so inexpensive. I love it and so does my son. It's ideal when he is a 'secret agent' to wear a suit jacket, and this one fits right in.

The size was reduced by two sizes. I can use it for my skinny second son, who is about the same height as my first son.

I purchased this jacket in a size 10 for my son, who is 4'6", but is a strong and confident person, and the jacket fitted I was very happy with the cut and the shoulders. My son previously owned a 5 piece suit set in a size 12 that was very boxy, and the blazer seemed to be "swimming" over the rest of the suit. So I got him this jacket, and he looked really nice and tailored in it.
