For the age range of 4t and 5t, I would opt for the 4t. I bought the 3t/3t for my two year old. Now that his foot is moving from an 8 to a 9, they are running small.
The fact that my son is so particular does not bother him in the least. You should check these out!
There is a lot of padding in these socks.
Size 3 was the size I purchased Originally bought 4 for my grandchild when he was two years old. He loves them because they fit well and they look good.

This set of socks is a hit with my son, who is 3. It is a pleasure to see these patterns. It is only because they are not great that they are compliant. You can see at a couple of the seams and then on the top of the socks in the pictures there is a slight amount of fraying. All pairs are affected by this issue. Your child may also experience issues with the insides if he or she has sensory issues. I found a whole bunch of strings inside (see attached pictures). It will not be returning because my child loves them, but I just wanted to be aware so other buyers can make an informed decision.
The socks you're looking at are not worth buying. Those are the ones I ordered for my five-year-old. I can't wear those socks. In fact, they're much I ordered the socks in a size 3 because they are cut and length suitable for my three-year-old. It is suggested that children age 5 and up use these 7 years old. They are barely wide enough for him to slip on his foot with only a little bit of difficulty. It is a struggle to get them on his foot each time by bending the fingers width wise to stretch them more open. I feel like they're a bad copy of character grip socks out of China. It seems I should have bought two pairs of that brand from Amazon because I purchased another brand from Amazon and they fit perfectly in the same size. I'm sorry to hear about my son wearing these socks, since he was so excited about them. Eve complained that once the socks are on, the grip isn't good because he can still slide on our hard wood flooring. I wasted more money than anyone ever could.
It seemed like a fluke at first, but it turned out to be real. There is no longer any Ironman pair, as they have completely crumbled. Threads dangle from Cap's neck all over the place. Is a spider. It consists of a man and a woman As far as the Hulk are concerned, I guess they'll get by.
The socks are so cute and thick! They will keep you warm all day long, and they are very comfy too! A relative of mine has a 2 year old son. He was so happy to wear them, he wore them all day. At the end of the day, there was too much piling and it does not look good. Despite the fact that he had his shoes on, he wore this to daycare! I am disappointed.
These socks were purchased for my soon to be 2 year old son, since his old Spiderman socks had some wear and tear. When he saw how many Spidey socks were included in this pack, he freaked out. The purchase was a good one because this gives us more than one pair, so he doesn't cry when we have to take them off to wash them, as I can easily slip on a new pair by the end of the wash. There could have been more care taken with the grips on underside of the socks, and some of the socks had some rough stitching with fabric that was already unraveling. I rated it a 4 star because I thought they could have done a better job with the grips. The quality of the socks I expected was a little bit better for the price.
No holes, no stray strings (multiple washes), and they continue to look brand new! I strongly recommend it on a scale of 10/10.

Those socks fit my 2 year-old daughter very well, as her shoes are a toddler size 9. The socks do not stretch very well, so they are difficult to get on. I do know that they won't last forever, but they're the characters my son loves, so he's likely to wear them a few times.
I'm not sure why these are so As a precaution, I ordered a larger size than expected to ensure I would use them for as long as possible. To begin with, they were fairly small. After washing, their size has decreased even further. The quality, colors, and pictures are all decent. But my son will only be able to wear them for a month or so at most.
