They look great, and he doesn't get his toe caught when running around in them. I was worried about the soles slipping on linoleum/hardwood, but they didn't. My two-year-old has a slightly larger foot and wears a size 8, so I ordered the 2-year-old size. Size for three years.

These are so sweet and cuddly. I'll have to order a size chart because my two-year-old, who wears a size 7 t shoe, doesn't fit in these and they're a tripping hazard; however, there's no need to return them because they'll fit in six months.
