It has been almost 8 years since I had my 8 year old. These were worn by my 8-year-old during the last two months of school and literally had half the bottom torn off. For a 2nd grader, these tennis shoes don't last long in the weather outside on the playground or in class. Those are really nice to look at, but I wish the quality lasted a little while longer.
