It's almost as good as it sounds! Merrells are usually a favorite of mine, but the current pair has not performed This Velcro in particular is horribly frayed and even though my son's been wearing them for less than a month, he gets frustrated when he tries to run or go up stairs and the top of the jacket comes open

I think these sandals are great in general. I have had no complaints about the fit or comfort of my son's clothes. Our prototypes are broken on one of the orange/black tabs that hook around the gray string in the middle from the moment we opened them. As soon as I noticed I hadn't fixed it properly, I fixed it with needle and thread, since I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of returning them. In any case, they are loved by us.
