5 yr old. He's enamored with the compass on the sleeve, but the quality, more importantly to me, is superb. The zip-up hood is an added bonus. We bought it to visit Olympic National Park in Washington, and it held up admirably against the rain. It's a little too thick for a hot summer day and a little too thin for a true winter/snow day, but it's ideal for Spring and Fall. The camo color combination of blue and green is eye-catching!.
The hood is completely ripped despite following the washing instructions on the first wash! We're returning it in the hopes of receiving a complete refund. We're not sure whether we were just unlucky and should get a new one or if we should look for something else. br>.
What a fantastic little jacket you've got there! I purchased two, and they were a perfect fit for my boys, who were overjoyed. The compass on the jacket's arm is an unanticipated bonus. The first item on the agenda was a "camouflaged" compass walk through the woods.
This rain jacket appears to be a great light-weight option. For my six-foot frame, I ordered a size 7. year- It appears to be the perfect size for him to grow into as he gets older. He also likes to squeeze the left sleeve!.
The neon trim is nice because it makes my son stand out. Fits well and is of good quality for the price. When my other son is old enough, I'll order one for him.
I washed it once, and the lining inside the hood completely disintegrated, leaving an unsightly mess of strings and ripped open seams. After a few weeks of normal use, the outer shell ripped in two places. What a colossal financial blunder!.
The inside of the hood ripped out the second time this jacket was washed. For delicates, I recommend washing them zipped up and in a garment bag. We stitched it up and hope it will last a long time; otherwise, I really liked it. It's a thin jacket that glides over long sleeve shirts with ease. Rainy, windy, and/or chilly days are ideal. The print was exactly as depicted, and the compass was a nice touch.
This is a fantastic jacket. It's not too thin, but neither is it too thick. It's ideal for our Florida summer rains, but it also worked well on a cold vacation in South Carolina. Excellent craftsmanship.
