It's a yes! Even though it is much colder than that, it is still very warm! Our son just returned home with one for himself and he said it was very warm and that the hood zipped up high to cover the neck and has velcro over the hood for easy dressing - The hood is placed high on the neck, so it keeps the hood close to their heads. Those with sensitive ears will also find a matching hat to wear under the hood, so they will not damage their ears. This coat is what I recommend for people who live in Indiana where the winter temperatures drop below zero. He has no idea what he is missing and it is well worth a whole lot more than anything he has had before!

For kids, this is a great coat. Because he's a 2 year old and weighs about 25 pounds, clothing can sometimes be a bit loose on him, but I bought a 2T so he could grow into it and found it to be more comfortable than I'd anticipated. He has worn it on days as hot as 55 and as cold as 30 and has been fine. He also did the first wash this week and the piece holds up well, none of the lettering has worn away and no seams have broken. I like this coat a lot.
That's what I mean. I highly recommend this for my 18-month-old. It is so much fun for him! As soon as I hold up his coat, he knows it is time to leave and puts it on without hesitation. There is an extra lining/closure around the neck to keep you warm as well as a fleece lining inside. Because it was too small for his head, which I expected (he has a lot of hair), I threw it away. The overall impression is a winter coat that you absolutely need.
Several awkwardly sewn things with this make me think it may be a knockoff or factory reject, but we needed something in a hurry, and it worked for our purposes (weeklong fall trip to New England), so I am To give you an idea of what my 3 year old looks like, he's 38", 38 lbs and fits well in a 4T.
The coat is strong and the child is happy with it. However, the hat does not seem to work for us. I am not sure if his head is too big or if it is too small. No matter how he approaches it, it does not go unnoticed. This means that I cannot get what I need out of it. But for all that, it's a lovely coat. It's warm, nice and stylish and fitting.
I shall definitely get him a larger one in another color The jacket is beautiful and I love it so much. As you can see, I usually buy quite a bit of clothing for my nephew (also from other stores), but it can wipe off spills easily, so that you can still look good until you wash it after work.
The dress fits Oliver perfectly and looks great on him. A friend of his loves to wear it and it works. He stays warm thanks to the heater. It's a very handsome outfit on him.
Underneath the lining is a thick layer. A buttoned hood gives a tight fit and makes the hood comfortable. Winter is a great time to wear it.
It will be no different from the last one!.
