There is a tag on the jacket that says it's I have one for each of my grandsons. There is no rain or snow in it and they say that it is very warm. They have all been in the snow and rain in it and not gotten Amount of water that went through was nonexistent. I suppose it is waterproof then.
In addition to the hood, the coat has a collar. A hood is not included in this zip-in jacket.
Honestly, they are true to size. My son wore a 4T last year and they fit him perfectly. As a result of his growth, he's now a size 4 in boys and a 5T/4 in toddlers. That should help a little bit!

I can't believe what a great deal this is! I bought my son a 32 Degrees 2 systems coat last year and he wears it right now. He uses this coat on a daily basis and the quality is great, but his current coat has a zipper problem. Despite what I was told, on one side of the outer coat, there is no zip, so the inner coat cannot zip onto it. I was very upset, but the company that sold it to me gave me a full refund and allowed me to keep it. I ordered several sizes 4 and 5/6 of these lighter styles when I found them. It was not disappointing at all, and I was extremely happy with the price. One complaint I have is that the price increased rapidly before I ordered more. The grey one is my favorite among the five or six styles that I ordered. It is very well made and is very cute. I think that it is perfect for Spring or Fall here in New England. My son is 5, but he is rather small for someone that There are a few shirts in his closet in 5T, mostly clothing in 4T. Moreover, he is also able to fit into most of his 3Ts. I love love love it! The jacket I bought for my 5-year-old son is great and I had to leave a review, although I normally don't do that. A Weatherproof 32 Degrees Jacket is my second purchase from the company. The company I work for is amazing! This raincoat is thicker than an average raincoat and has a warm fleece lining inside, so it is more like a sweatshirt and a raincoat rolled up into one. If it is chilly, rainy, or snowy outside, I know I can send my son out in comfort and dry clothes. Shipping was fast, and the quality was excellent for the price. I am really looking forward to getting my third one this year. I'm very pleased with this product.
My favorite feature of the jacket is its design. It is amazing how vibrant the color is. I only have one issue with it the sleeves are too long, and the middle is a bit snug. It's a nice jacket for the fall, though.
Although the outer shell and the inner shell zip together, the outer shell does not. There is a reversed zipper, reversing the zipper will result in a misaligned zipper.
However, it appears to be well worth the price. This is definitely an item I will wear for a long time since I ordered one size up. These layers look great and seem to be of a thick, durable fabric. When I get some use out of it, I'll update. It would be nice if there were some choices for girls!.
