Oh, I'd say yes to In addition to being retired from the Navy, my husband is also a pilot The gift I got him for Christmas was this. I think it would be cute on the collar of a lady's coat as well.
One I have is silver with a black center that appears to be onyx. That will probably depend on the kind of clothing you wear with it. One thing I like about mine is that it is comfortable.

Tie tacks such as this one are nice. It has a poor design, however. Tie tacks are usually thin enough that they can be easily inserted into the necktie's fabric and then easily removed without leaving a visible mark on the fabric. In this case, the pin is too thick, making it difficult to insert. Additionally, a notch near the pivoting point traps and snags the fibers of the tie, causing it to come out and come out with the pin. Neckties that are damaged in this manner will not be able to be repaired. As a result, there is a visibly visible hole in the material, and a few strands of silk come loose. If the silk necktie has been used twice or three times, it may become ruined. It is the first time I've ever experienced this problem with tying pins after wearing them for almost 30 years (I prefer them over tie clips or bars). Both the gold and silver of these are being returned, as I purchased both in gold.
I have not worn it yet, but I like how it has an anchor design like the one I used to wear while I was in the Navy. After untangling the chain, I had to squeeze the connecting ring shut with needle nose pliers. The chain was a bit tangled at the base and I had to untangle it in order to untangle the last hook ring. This weekend will be a great weekend to wear it.
When the guy in the picture above came into view, my hubby and I browsed tie tacs. It was a lot of fun ordering just for fun because I thought he was amazing! He and I agreed that it was just too cute not to wear it when he came in!.
In order to find a replacement catch, I'll go on eBay. Although the pin itself appears of decent quality, it may be difficult to determine its In these days, I only wear ties on certain levels of job interviews, so I seldom wear them all the time, that's why I bought this inexpensive, but stylish tie tack at first. There may have been a defect on my pin catch whereas other pin catch are working fine- It was worth mentioning, so I did.
The tie tack is of good weight, the detailing is excellent, and there is a nice long stem that will not only punch through the tie, but also be able to make a secure fit in the receiver.
I was amazed when I first saw it trying to blow my mind with its beauty. There was a problem with the clasp and I could not get the pin to go back in the hole. My pin started peeling off its silver coating as soon as I attempted to use it. There is no use for this at all. There is no way I can recommend this product.
My previous tie pin has been broken for about 30 years. I'm replacing it with this new one. This is a better-looking device than the one I originally purchased. Whether the first tie pin was a sailor knot or not I am not sure, but it was very In terms of visual appeal, this one just stands out more. In my search for a new tie pin, I was told that the damage the pin would cause to the tie makes it impossible to sell them anymore. In my opinion, I still prefer them to the tie bar, they look much nicer. You will not believe how happy I am.
My expectation was a little bigger than the actual box, but it is very nice looking and appears to be well made. I have not had any problems wearing it. There is a lot of color in this picture. My recommendation is to try it out.
