Questions & Answers
Yes, I wash them on a gentle cold cycle before air drying them.
I'd go with a temperature in the mid-twenties Fahrenheit. If it's dry snow, they're fine, maybe even lower, but they get wet quickly and become useless.
Even a petite woman would find them too small for an adult.
Our 6-year-old is wearing an extra small, so he still has room to grow.

After a half-hour of playing outside, my daughter's hands were completely soaked. We have two pairs in different colors, but they are not waterproof.
For an adult, I have small hands, so I bought an XL pair for myself and a M for my 9-year-old. We've never had an issue with Columbia mittens because they fit well, are comfortable, and appear to be a good price.
It's difficult to find mittens for young adult men that aren't excessively long (as needed for snowmobiling) or overly feminine-- These are perfect for my special needs friend who has trouble with dexterity.
These are adorably warm and adorable. I bought them for my daughter, but they're big enough for my hands as well. My fingers and hands are quite small.
We've bought four or five sets of these and they're fantastic. They help to keep your hands warm. Columbia, thank you very much.
Although the gloves appeared to be of good quality, the sizing was completely incorrect. I ordered an XS, which was supposed to fit a 1-year-old child. Even though they were only two years old, they were enormous. My 18-month-old didn't even come close to fitting into it.
This purchase has made me extremely happy!.
The only thing I wish was that the velcro could be tightened to fit smaller wrists. I'd buy it again if it weren't for that.
