Last year's (2019) blue (size 3) and pink/purple (size 2) are still available. The most recent addition (size 4) is the red coat. When the color we want becomes available, I'll buy another for my little girl. They are an excellent fit for my children of average height and weight. br>br>They fit perfectly and feel fantastic. Throughout the coat, fleece is used as a lining. The colors are vibrant, and the coat is extremely long-lasting. My children wore theirs throughout the fall and winter of last year. They're still in excellent shape. br>br>*Please take note of this; We live in the Atlanta area of Georgia, so the weather isn't too bad or too cold.
br>Not recommended for snowy conditions. This is not a rain coat, despite the fact that the top coat is water resistant. In extremely cold weather, I would not recommend this coat for hiking. br>br>This coat is perfect for walking around town in the fall and warmer winter months.
This coat is on the smaller side. If your child normally wears a size smaller, order a full size larger. My daughter wore a 24 month size, and the 2T was far too small for her. I had a hard time zipping it up.
This coat is fantastic! It's warm enough for a mildly chilly winter day without being too bulky in the car. The nylon in the upper layer is wind-resistant. water-resistant and resistant resistant to drool (helps with drooling!) The only flaw is that there are no pockets for my toddler to stuff rocks into.
I like it because it keeps my kids warm and it's not too puffy or bulky that I have to remove it to get them into their carseat. Great for colder weather, but not quite warm enough for extremely cold days. My two and four-year-olds each have one, and we also had a smaller version.
However, it is not labeled or sold according to the specifications, which may irritate cotton lovers such as myself. EDIT: br>br> br>In the comments section of Hane's website, I found two responses that contained this information, which appears to be quite valuable and which Hane's does not provide in the item description: br>" FABRIC: n/a n/a n/a n/a n 90% CTN/10 POLY 2010 OZ EXCEPT FOR LIGHT STEEL, WHICH IS 85% CTN/15% POLY, EXCEPT FOR LIGHT STEEL, EXCEPT FOR LIGHT STEEL, EXCEPT FOR LIGHT CHARCOAL HEATHER MADE UP OF 65% CTN AND 35% POLY. GREY OF OXFORD: "65CTN/35POLY" is a combination of the letters CTN and POLY. br>This information should be provided by both Hane's and Amazon.
I like the price, but the length is short, so go up a size!.
The arms were a little long, but it was a great fit in general. When it's a little chilly outside, Granddaughter keeps herself pretty warm. Overall, I am very pleased with this jacket because she adores it.
This jacket is warm enough for most days here in North Carolina (where I live), but it's also light enough to wear in the car seat, which is my favorite feature. In addition, the design is very cute.
