The Velcro has lost its adhesion as well and the fabric is now less sticky. The worst part is Getting them clean and dry proved to be quite a challenge. For example, I had to scrub the fabric part several times to remove certain foods, and gently wring it out before rinsing and wringing to get rid of the soapy water. As I tried to do this, air bubbles developed on the fabric layers. I was glad that I had other brand bibs to use while I waited for these to dry since the fabric took much longer to I had to serve myself periodically pour water as I dried out the fabric part of the OXO bibs (hanging up). It's amazing that these bibs still look brand new even after washing several times - the silicone is so sturdy and the silicone is such a high quality I could wipe clean quite often! I'm actually shocked that these bibs do not have stains! The OXO ones are stained, stiff, misshapen, and headed for the garbage as the Velcro no longer adheres to them. These ones look and feel just as new as the OXO ones after a little more than six months of daily use. I do not think there has been a single problem with these Happy Healthy Parent bibs. They are exactly what I'm looking for. This is an excellent Bib and does just as it should. Because of that, it gets five stars from me. Even so, since I paid close to 20$ for these and to see them ripped made me sad, once they are ripped, it's pointless to consider how nice the product is, since it's already ripped.
