These are adorable and soft, but they aren't particularly absorbent. I've been using them for a while now, and they've earned a reputation for being the spit rags that literally roll milk right off onto the floor. They're soft and cute prints, which is nice when I'm dabbing baby's mouth, but they don't really do the job. I ended up having to buy some Aden and Anais burp rags because I already had a couple from my first child and know how large and absorbent they are. Unfortunately, these Burt's Bees ones are not something I would recommend.
Burp cloths seemed like a waste of money to me. We'd just use dish towels, I figured. br>br>It turns out that I am the one who is stupid. Yes, you must purchase burp cloths, and these are the ones you should purchase. They are much softer and absorbent than traditional towels. These are great because the pleating allows you to make them wider or narrower, and the fabric is very absorbent, as well as staying on your shoulder. It's critical! br>br>My only gripe, which I have with all burp cloths, is that they are too small. What is the purpose of the tag? It only serves to obstruct your progress. I've shaved off all of mine.

I mostly use these cloths to go under our baby's bum at changing time now that she's past the spitting up all the time stage; they're fantastic for this purpose and well worth the money! It's much easier to throw a peed on rag in the wash than it is to take the sheet off of a changing table. We no longer use a sheet on the changing table, preferring instead to use rags under the bum!.

I really wanted to like these, but all they do is squirt liquid in my baby's face. They're great for seeing how far a small amount of spit can stretch across a surface, but they're an expensive organic waste of money when it comes to wiping and cleaning. Basic cloth diapers are far more effective and cost less.
I've purchased a lot of items for my upcoming baby, but this is one of the best purchases I've made in the last two months! Because of it, I'm a big fan of organic cotton. There was no odor at all. I can't wait to try it because it's super soft and safe for my baby.
I bought them for my second new baby, so I've had my fair share of burp cloths. These are by far the softer and more attractive of the bunch. I haven't used them yet; instead, I washed them by hand before using them for the first time. They maintain their shape and material softness and quality, and appear to be ideal for use on a baby's sensitive skin. It's also a good size. While not overly large, it should be large enough to cover your entire shoulder or forearm while carrying or burping your baby. Would definitely recommend! br>br>.
These burp cloths are part of the Burt's Bees baby line, which I adore. Cute, soft, natural, and easy to give as a gift. If you're a practical shopper, however, you'll find cheaper, larger, and more absorbent burp cloths. But these do the job with a little more sweetness (and after baby is done with them, they can be used as scratch-free, reusable cleaning cloths!).
