There are no layers of plastic. It's like a thick terry clothe rag all over. Simple to clean

These are not something I would use for my new baby. I'd go for something a tad more compact. Babies aged six months and up will love it.

Thank you so much for these bibs! br>UPDATE (February 26th, 2020): I recently purchased a large quantity of these; They're ideal for my three-month-old son, who spits up profusely. I like how they're flat so they don't bunch up around her chin like bandana bibs do, and the terry cloth is soft and absorbent for spit up and wiping her mouth. br>br>It's so adorable! Definitely a giftable item of good quality.
These bibs are absolutely fantastic. My son suffers from acid reflux and frequently spits up. Out of all the bibs I've tried, I found these to be one of the most quickly absorbent. The terry cloth material can absorb a large amount of liquid quickly, making it ideal for reflux. br>br> I've bought three sets so far. . . one when he was born, another when he was three months old, and now this set when he's nine months old. Although the Velcro is strong, after 9 months of continuous use, a few of my originals had lost their grip. However, I believe that 9 months of daily use for 4 days is a reasonable shelf life, as the bibs wash and dry well and do not shrink. I included a photo to demonstrate that, despite being washed numerous times, there is no difference between my old bib and the new ones. There are no issues! When these run out, I'll be purchasing more.
These were purchased based on a mother's recommendation of her favorite drooling bibs. Yes, these items are extremely absorbent. Bibs from Burt's Bees cost a lot more. They, on the other hand, feel like a damp towel on my baby's chest, and I suppose there's nothing I can do about it because she drools so much. But it'd be nice if it didn't feel like she was wearing a heavy wet towel around her neck.
These would have been perfect for my son's spitup when he was a baby, but I didn't buy them when he was a baby. Instead, I gave them to him when he was about 9 months old to help with his teething drool. They're too cute. He doesn't take it off during the day. To go with it, I have the matching burp clothes. As a security blanket, my son wears his old burp clothes. I like how the burp cloth matches his bib and he can hold it in his hands. However, I'm not sure why each bib couldn't include a cute Mommy statement.
I'd like to meet the person who sewed these bibs together with the Worst Velcro Strips on the Face of the Earth. Because of how bad these are, they deserve an award. The fabric is nice, and the prints are nice, but what good are they if the bibs don't stay in place because the velcro strips are a joke?.
These adorable bibs are made of a material I adore and are the perfect size. They're made of a soft terry cloth that absorbs moisture. These bibs are large enough to wear during meals, so I'm surprised they're marketed as "drooler" bibs. They're both long and wide. My daughter, who is 11 months old, wears these to dinner and finds them very comfortable. They also provide excellent protection for her shirts. The sayings are just too cute on top of it all! These bibs have exceeded my expectations in every way.
The best bibs for a baby with reflux. I believe this is the fourth set I've bought. THESE ARE NOT MY FAVORITE DESIGNS IN THE WORLD. I wish there were some that were plain and didn't have any embroidery on them. However, they absorb a lot of liquid. We go through several bibs a day - they're great for drool and babies who spit up/vomit a lot. I can't keep up with the laundry at all - As a result, we bought a lot of things! For the price, this is an excellent product.
These bibs are so pretty! I'm a very artistic and fashion-forward person, even when it comes to my baby's clothes, so I'm always on the lookout for bright and sassy bibs to pair with her outfits. These are spot on! Colors, designs, and quality are all excellent. The fact that the fabric was neither too hot nor too stretchy appealed to me. Some of the bibs I've bought cause my baby to sweat, stain easily, or stretch out. These are not the ones! These bibs are a fantastic investment!.
