It does keep them dry, to be sure. It's not an absorbent bib, but it works well for catching food and keeping it off their clothes.
I'm not sure.
No smell. Everyone should wear these bibs, in my opinion. My two-year-old has only used these, and I wash them in the washing machine (closed) once a week and rinse them in between meals.
The super bib from Bumkins is 11 inches long and wide. 5" from shoulder to shoulder, and 8" in length. 5" from the top of the head to the bottom.

Bibs are my absolute favorites. When I was a nanny, I used these for over ten years and thought to myself, "When I have kids, I'm going to buy these bibs for meal times!" " As a result, six years later, I purchased one for my firstborn! That one, however, I misplaced (it was decorated with little owls!). When I had my second, I simply went to Target and purchased some generic bibs. A MASSIVE letdown. The other brand smelled like yucky baby vomit and eventually turned moldy, the print wrinkled and looked gross, and the bib's integrity crumbled with each wash. As a result, I placed an order for these and will never use another bib again. These bibs are very easy to clean; simply scrub with a little dish soap, then wring out to dry. It will probably take 2 or 3 hours to dry them out, so they will be ready for the next meal. This particular set is one of my favorites. Cute little whales and sea animals, plus a chevron print for good measure! Climb over the fence if you're on the fence. You will not be sorry!.
My baby, like most babies, is a messy eater. He isn't very good at self-care. He refuses to be fed and insists on feeding himself. The pockets on these bibs make things a lot easier because they catch (almost) everything he throws in his lap. Cleaning them is a breeze, and they dry quickly. They don't stain like some of the other bibs we've tried, and they keep him dry and clean (most of the time). The patterns are trendy and cute. The Velcro tabs can be adjusted to fit the baby's size, allowing him to grow with him. I went with the larger size because I don't see the point in having to buy something twice if I don't have to. They fit my son when he was younger and just starting to eat solid foods, and he is now a 10-month-old chunker, and they are still in excellent condition. To be honest, I don't use any of the fabric bibs I bought because these are so much more convenient and effective, and I highly recommend them for small children.
These bibs, like any other bib, keep food off my baby's shirt, and the neck opening can be adjusted small enough to cover the collar of her shirt completely (some others are too big, allowing juicy items to stain the collar). However, the food-catching pocket only catches a portion of the food that is thrown. This is partly due to the pocket not staying open, and partly due to the fact that my daughter rarely drops food straight down her front; I could try one of those silicone bibs with a pocket that stays open all the time, but that would only handle part of the mess. br>br>Cleaning these bibs is a breeze. I simply spray them down in the sink and hang them to dry; they are also machine washable, but I prefer the spray-down method. method of lowering.
Period. I will never buy another brand or type of bin in my life, and in fact, I have purchased more of these! First and foremost, these are large enough to cover my son's entire torso, ensuring that food does not get stuck between his shoulders and the sleeves. Second, the neck opening is adjustable, allowing the big to sit higher up against his neck and catch more food with the bib. Also, the velcro is strong, so it stays on even if he tries to pull it off (which isn't often because these are very comfortable and lightweight). Finally, these are simple to clean with a squirt of soap, but I also wash them after heavier meals, and they've held up well after many washes. The bottom line is that if I could, I would give these a million stars, and you know they must be good if I'm taking 10 minutes out of my day to write this with a toddler.
Oh, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my I'm not sure what's going on here, but these things mold so quickly. I bought several different sets of these and am extremely disappointed. Three of them have already had to be discarded. I bought a variety of bibs, knowing that I'd have to throw them all away due to mold. Even the tiniest amount of moisture on these things in a ridiculously short period of time and it's all over the place. It irritates me.
I have an 8-month-old wiggly squiggly who enjoys staring at anything and everything in the room while eating, which has resulted in some yucky shoulders and collars on clothes. This is no longer the case. These bibs are so adorable! They clean his shoulders and collar, keep him dry, and are simple to clean in the sink or washer. They work better at catching dropped food bits when he's in the Ingelisina chair attached to the counter than when he's in his old-fashioned chair. I don't mind brushing a few bits of food off his clothes in his school wooden high chair at the table because it does a good job of catching liquids. At the very least, I'm not pre-treating each shirt any longer.
These are the most amazing bibs I've ever seen! We're never going back to using cloth or silicone bibs. They're light and comfortable for him to wear, but they're great at keeping food and liquids off his clothes. When they get dirty, they're also very simple to clean up. After each meal, we clean them off, and they're always dry and ready for the next meal. We also use them OVER the high chair straps to keep messes away from the high chair. When they're dirty, just toss them in the washer, and they'll be dry in no time. We'll upgrade to the ones with sleeves when he's bigger because they're generously sized and should last a long time!.
My baby and I have only recently started eating solid foods, and the mess is ridiculous. He spits, smashes, and drools all over these bibs, and they're still in good shape! I wash them in the sink with the rest of the dishes and hang them to dry. So far, I've noticed that the print is fading and that there is no discoloration from food if we don't wash it right away. The patterns are extremely adorable. The velcro around his neck is long, allowing you to easily adjust it for a growing child. The pocket is ideal for catching dropped food and minimizing the mess I'll have to clean up later. Also, the cost is very reasonable. I would strongly suggest it.
