It is difficult to absorb. It claims to be super absorbent and has a density of six layers. Advertising that is deceptive. In general, these are too thin to be used for spit up. Instead of cleaning my kitchen, I'm thinking about using these. I folded it in half before putting my son on me, and it still went all the way to my shirt, despite the fact that a piece of paper is thicker.
DO NOT BUY if your baby spits up a lot of liquid rather than chunky spit up. They don't soak up a lot of water. It is going to pass right through it. The cloth is extremely soft and pleasant to the touch, as well as being quite large.
These are fantastic! Out of all the burp cloths we have, these are our favorites; I recommend buying a lot of them because you'll go through them quickly. I'm going to order more of these because we only have two packs. We go through a lot of them every day, between drool, spit up, and dropping them on the floor. I suggest purchasing at least four of these packs. They perform admirably and become softer with each wash.
People had told me that after their baby was born, they would have stacks of burp cloths all over the house. I didn't realize how serious this was until our baby began to go through the 6-month period. Every day, I use ten burp cloths. These burp cloths came in handy so much! br>br>At first, I didn't think the quality was very good because of the wide weave, but apparently that's what muslin is and it's used to keep babies from suffocating. And I'm glad it's being used because from 3 weeks to about 7 months, we had a burp cloth on our baby all the time. We even use them as small security blankets for the baby to play with while they sleep. br>br>The only drawback I've discovered is that I can't always get stains out of them, and they end up stiff and dry as a result of the Oxyclean. However, I haven't tried using fabric softener on them yet, so that could help.
When I opened the package to inspect my item after receiving it, the scent of baby powder nearly knocked me out. The strength of it was incredible. This is supposed to be a present for my niece's upcoming arrival. I know I wouldn't want to get something for my baby that was contaminated with who knows what and came from who knows where. I'd do it even if I knew I'd wash it. I'm not sure why the manufacturer thought it would be a good idea. I'm going to return it because I'm not sure I'd be comfortable giving it as a gift in its current state.
These suckers are great at sucking up vomit, drool, and other messes. Because they do get wet, have a few extras on hand. I still prefer these to the waterproof version, which causes luqids to run off to the side.
My child is a spit-up-on-the-floor type. up queen; These are capable of dealing with a slew of different situations. They're "pretty" because of the rippled fabric, and they're also super soft and absorbent thanks to the multi-layered fabric. Strongly suggested - I'll be purchasing more of these! Every mother should have at least one set, if not two!.
The burp cloths were fine, but I ordered and paid for an eight-pack but only received a six-pack. Get some muslin burp cloths, they're great, but go through a different distributor who won't take advantage of you.
