My favorite part of this bib is the color. The bib loses its original shape after a few washes because it becomes "worn out/torn. ". Teething with this is not recommended unless you want your child to chew on thick cloth like a bib (in which case you can just have her bite on her sleeves after all). There's no real waterproof protection in this bib, as it's absorbent but not at all waterproof. Due to the thickness of the bib, it is more absorbent. I was disappointed by how tight the neck is and the bib part is not as wide and covering as I had hoped, but will do for now. However, there is a little trouble with the buttons, especially one that leaves a red mark on my daughter's neck when she moves her head around, especially when she moves her head. Additionally, when the bib gets wet it can absorb it so that it does not go through the bib, but, because it is under her chin, when it gets wet overtime as a result of her spitting, it can cause a little rash or redness.
Overall, it is a bit too snug and small, but I still loved this product enough to use it quite a bit.
The lining on these diapers is waterproof, so I don't have to worry about drool leaking through. My 6 month old drools a lot so these diapers hold up so well. You can certainly feel that it is a normal bib but it has that waterproof lining, so any mom who is worried won't need to worry. Besides being perfect in thickness, it is not thick at all, which lets us use it well.
My 5 month old is teething, so this was purchased for her. It was an extremely disappointing experience. A large snap leaves part of the snap exposed to the baby's neck on its largest snap. The cotton fabric was thin and just a piece. Additionally, it has a limited coverage area. The material would work for birth to maybe 2 months of age, but not much afterward.
It has a cheap looking design and is made of plastic.
My search for bibs did not turn up these. These mittens look adorable, but I wanted the mittens that had a thick inner plastic liner so we could keep the In fact, they provide no protection to the babies' clothing at all because the inner liners are so thin. Despite the looks, I only gave it three stars.
There is a way for moisture to pass through It's child of mine bibs that are the best cloth bibs I've found so far. Usually found at Walmart or Amazon. Because they were a bit cheaper, I decided to try them. The quality of the product is determined by the price.
There is no way to keep my babies dry. I have to change the bibs of my 5 month old twins three times a day because they are teething a lot. There is a bib for every six minutes throughout the day.
I washed them in the washer before using them for the first time, and they shrank to half the size. Perfect for newborns, but not for babies under 6 months.
