"Made in China" is printed on the box. My little one I got the burp cloths today and unwrapped them. It had a fishy odor to it. There was a large dead June bug or beetle of some kind; I'm debating whether or not to use it. However, it was not manufactured in the United States of America.

I'm not sure we've ever used these. We frequently use a blanket or a diaper insert as a burping cloth simply because it is convenient. However, this in no way reflects the quality of the product. They are exactly as advertised: super soft, thick, and absorbent. And, while I like the designs, I'm not sure I'd buy them again. Not only because we use so many things as burp cloths, but also because, unlike the blanket and diaper inserts, this is a one-trick pony, and we're not sure what we'll do with them when the baby grows up. I'm always on the lookout for new ways to reinvent myself. I'm thinking about repurposing some of my baby items, but I'm not sure yet. Do they make a great gift? You bet they do. It's one of those items that I wouldn't recommend a mother purchasing for herself, but I wouldn't be disappointed if I received it as a gift. In general, a good product. Please let me know if you found my review useful. Thanks!.
Because they went above and beyond to resolve the issue, I upgraded my rating to five stars. I'll definitely return to this store because they stand behind their goods! br>br>** Original Post *
I was excited to get and use these for my little one after reading all of the good reviews. Unfortunately, the poor workmanship became apparent after the first wash - One of the seams has come undone, exposing the inside. This is not suitable for small children's hands, which may become entangled.
This product is absorbent, thick, and heavy, and the colors appealed to me. I was thrilled with it until I washed it and discovered that the inside layer (there are three layers) had rolled down on both ends. Because this happened on all five of them, I don't believe the inside layer is sewn in with the other fabric. I've only washed them once, so I'm not sure if the second wash will make things worse or better. As a result, I give it a four-star rating.
These are extremely plush and soft. They are also cost-effective. They work fine, but my favorite burp cloths are the ultra absorbent muslin ones that break in a little better after washing. I have a baby who suffers from reflux, so I'm probably in need of more absorption. For most people, I believe these are a great deal because you get twice as many for half the price.
While the pictures in the description appear to be a little large, I find that these are the perfect size for both my little one and my clothing's integrity! They are extremely absorbent, comfortable for my baby, and effective at both cleaning and preventing accidents! If you're unhappy with your current burp cloths, you'll love these. All new parents should check this out!.
With five children, I've tried a variety of burp cloths and these are my two favorites: they're soft, thick, and absorbent, and the patterns are adorable. It's also the perfect size; I'd recommend it.
They are INCREDIBLY soft and are shaped to fit around the neck, chest, and shoulders. Because our baby doesn't like being high on the shoulder, I usually keep it from my shoulder to my chest, which is where she spits on me the most. br>br>At first, I was hesitant to spend what seemed like a lot of money for only 5 cloths, especially since we were given so many basic ones that we haven't used because these are so good. I thought having a lot of chewable ones would be better, but our baby doesn't spit up nearly as much as other babies, so we can use one per day. br>br>I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case to help out other first-time parents.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews unless I've had a strong impression, whether positive or negative. These, on the other hand, were a huge letdown. They're stuck in a drawer, and I only use them as a last resort if I'm behind on laundry. br>When I first took these out of the package, I was giddy with anticipation. They were exceptionally soft, thick, and natural! Then, as you would with anything for a new baby, I washed them (exactly according to the noted laundering instructions), and that's when the issue arose. br>It's as if the fabric on the inside/middle wasn't sewn all the way around the perimeter to keep it in place, or it was cut too big, or the outside fabric shrank. If you've ever tried to stuff a duvet or comforter into a duvet cover that's smaller than the duvet, you know how the duvet gets all bunched up and wrinkled inside. This is the state of these burp rags right now. The interior fabric is bunched up and wavy/wrinkly on the inside, making them thicker in some areas and more difficult to use. br>I gave the giftably a low rating because of this. due to a problem with the interior fabric They have the potential to be fantastic if this issue is resolved. However, I regret not spending a few dollars more and purchasing another Burt's Bees set. Unless this problem is resolved, I would recommend spending the extra $24/$25 on the organic Burt's Bees rectangular burp cloths.
