I was impressed with the quality and timely arrival of the order. While the weather was hot and humid in the Caribbean, my baby stayed comfortable and happy all day. Even after crawling in the sand, the fabric remained intact. There was no need for sunblock. This is awesome! We will be buying more in the future. I bought it bigger because I wanted it bigger. We just discovered this product and are so thankful. It is a loose swimsuit so he isn't irritated by it, it is very lightweight so he isn't hot, and it dries super fast! I would highly recommend it!.
Purchase this item, you won't be disappointed! bought a size 12 mos for our 4 month old (who is now 6 months old), hoping he would grow into it by the summer so he could wear it for swim lessons before the summer was out. In the growth chart, he's nearly 50th percentile, so he's average size, so it fits well. As long as the top is left unzipped, it's fine for him. A zipper should be at least 2 inches away from his chin so that it does not bunch. Because we live in North Carolina, we need this suit, along with an spf hat, in order to enjoy our weekly outdoor swim lesson instead of worrying about whether our kids are getting burned. We've never had a problem with our kid getting sunburned since we've used this along with our baby Aveeno sunscreen. Once I have completed my lessons, I wash it on the delicate cycle and air dry it. We are always getting compliments on the pair and it holds up well. I imagine we will continue to use it once we move inside - unlike the two-wheeled model The sets are nice because there is no shirt to ride up, and the insulation helps keep you warm just as you'd expect from a wetsuit or rashguard. In the future, we will purchase another when this one is no longer fit for us.
A beach trip was the reason we got this item. It is something we really enjoy. I like the way it's made, and the sun protection it offers is excellent. This is not a good product to take to the beach, though. You may have a difficult time using the zipper if you cannot get the sand out if you are changing your diaper at the beach after playing in the sand. I had a lot of trouble getting it done! Use it when you're at the pool.
A zipper which opens the whole bathing suit is exactly what I was looking for. Even partially zipped files should no longer be bought. I hate it when that happens. These were worn by my son during swim lessons all year round as well as at the pool and on the beach. It is not a wet suit but a body suit that keeps him warm in the inside pool for swim lessons even though it is not a wet suit. I love how UPF 50 coverage is so great outside on a sunny day because I don't have to worry about lathering sunscreen on his body, which is practically worth the price of not having to handle This is about getting sunscreen on a toddler.
