The hood is supposed to stay on, but does it?

I believe so! I bought one for my son and nephew and they liked the way the hood stayed on. The process becomes even easier once the material is wet and partially stuck to the surface. It's amazing how nice these suits are!

In our experience as recent boat owners, I wanted to get a swim suit that would protect our 15-month-old's delicate skin from the Florida sun when we were not in the water and eliminate the hassle of repeatedly applying sunscreen daily. My daughter and I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect one and finally settled on this one because it offered full skin coverage and has a little hood attached which is perfect for getting her to wear a hat. I don't have to worry about him getting too hot with the quality of the fabric and the fact that it's lightweight. Also, I ordered a size larger than I normally wear since I wanted to wear it more often. The sleeves and legs tend to run true to size, so if you order up, you will probably have to roll them up or let them be bunched at the bottom if you order up. As soon as my son outgrows this one, I definitely will order again.

No reason to do it, there is a good reason for that

There are buttons on the pants. I would have preferred zippers! I had trouble buttoning the pants up!.

This is one of my little one's favorite things! Despite its size, my little girl loves the way this suit feels and is protected from the sun

Even though it was a little big, I still managed to wear it. Due to the stretchy fabric, I'm sure it will last a little through her growth spurts as well. Additionally, the color provides a sense of security since it can easily be seen so in an emergency situation. As long as my little bug is old enough to tell me she wants something different, I will continue to purchase these suits for her.
