Owners of the Google Pixel 3
5/5

You'll be able to charge more quickly as a result of this. First, let me explain why a Pixel owner would want to purchase this: a quick charge I'm the proud owner of a Pixel 3 smartphone. The "rapid charging" indicator is activated when this adapter is used. However, I believe it lags behind the Pixel 3 wall charger in terms of charging speed. If you want to charge your car faster, it's still a good investment. It is required that you use the USB-based method. When charging your phone, use the USB port on the C port. If I needed another PD charger for my Pixel phone, I would definitely purchase it again. br>br>However, I did hesitate. br>br>I was concerned about the post claiming that this adapter would destroy your Pixel phone (it could have been a few of them). Before writing this review, I used it for about a month and watched and felt my phone to see if it was fried by the adapter. There have been a few occasions when I've felt warm, but they've been few and far between. I'm happy to report that my Pixel 3 is still fully functional and that I haven't encountered any issues. br>br>It's terrible that someone's phone was destroyed. I'm not sure what happened; perhaps there was an electrical problem with the car or a faulty adapter. All I can say is that this adapter has served me well and that I have had no problems with it. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh I use a USB flash drive. This is a piece of the adapter for a Bluetooth receiver, and it works fine. br>br>**UPDATE 5/8/2019** I've had this on my Pixel 3 since January. There have been no issues for me. br>**UPDATE 9/2/2019** I've been using it all summer in Arizona. There will be no issues. It's still up and running!.

On the first use, it killed my Pixel XL
3/5

If you already own a Pixel, don't buy. The first time I used it, it fried the charging port on my Pixel XL. When I got the new charger and cord (both from Anker and rated for Pixel) in the mail, the phone was still charging. I plugged it in to see if the new charger would work, but it didn't. But I couldn't get my phone to charge with any charger after that. I had to drive it into the Pixel repair shop after spending several hours testing various chargers, rebooting the phone, and making calls. They said my charging port was fried and needed to be replaced after an inspection. They warned me not to use non-replaceable parts at the repair shop. Chargers and USB ports from Google For the Pixel, you'll need c cords. br>br>To be clear, the phone was working prior to plugging in the new charger, and after one use, my phone's charging port needed to be replaced.

Everything revolves around the delivery of power
5/5

My dream is for all of my products to be USB-compatible. C with power delivery is the future, and anker appears to be leading the industry with their chargers, including this one. My iPhone X charges quickly in the car, so a 15-minute drive takes about 30-minutes to complete. battery % It's incredible; it charges an iPhone running a GPS app faster than the charger that comes in a box charges a locked phone, which is insane. br>br>I highly recommend it, and I've already purchased two of them so I don't have to switch from car to car. br>br>PS - If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative IMPORTANT NOTE: You'll need an Apple-supplied iPhone cable. There are no other USB-compatible devices available. Until September 2018, the iPhone will be able to be charged quickly using the C cable.

works with the Google Pixel 3xl (when using c-mode) port for cable)
5/5

I bought it because of the lighting deal discount, but I wasn't sure if it would work with my Google Pixel 3xl for Rapid Charging. Using a c-address as a starting point c 2. IT WORKED WITH THE 0 CABLE (POWERLINE) I've only used it twice, but both times my phone charged quickly and without a hitch. br>Using the Anchor USB 3. 0 charger, it did not charge quickly. c cable - It didn't, however, display the "slowly charging" message. br>I haven't tried it on anything else - I bought it specifically to charge my Pixel 3xl while on the road. br>I haven't left it plugged in while the vehicle is turned off, so I'm not sure if it will drain the battery. While using it (during the day), I didn't notice any lights or charging indicators, so I'm not sure if leaving it plugged in would be a problem. br>br>Update 10/2019br>When plugged into the charging port, a blue ring illuminates, which turns off when the vehicle is turned off in my vehicle. I still don't leave the adapter plugged in overnight, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't drain the car's battery. br>My phone does get warm, but I've never had any problems with it overheating or damaging the charging port. If I'm going to leave the phone plugged in for more than a few minutes, I remove the case, but that's mostly because I have a cheap phone. case of high quality I do have a USB C-Adapter from Anker. I'm not sure if using a C cable helped me use this charger successfully. I'm seriously considering purchasing another Anker adapter/cable because my spouse takes mine out of my vehicle on a regular basis, and I despise being without it. Still a 5 star rating.

I bought two of them, and after two months, both of them failed - updated
4/5

UPDATE: Based on my original review, Anker support contacted me and offered to replace both of the failed units. I've been using them for a couple of weeks and have raised the rating from two to four stars because I've had no problems. If they keep working, I'll raise the rating to five stars because these are excellent units (when they work). br>br>I purchased two of these to charge our two Pixel 2 XLs in our two cars. They initially functioned well and charged quickly using the USB port. C outlet. Mine stopped charging via the USB port after about six weeks. The standard USB port continues to charge (but not at a 'fast' rate), despite the lack of a C outlet. Anker is something we both use. Additionally, there are branded cables. br>br>Anker is one of our favorite brands, but these chargers don't appear to be up to par.

Even if nothing is plugged into it, the battery will be depleted
3/5

First and foremost, I have over a dozen Anker products that I adore. However, there is a significant flaw in this one. Even when it is not connected to anything, it draws power. Because my Aukey charger does not, I will be returning to it. br>br>The cigarette port in my truck is designed to be active even when the truck is turned off. I've been using an Aukey USB-connected device. I've been using an Anker charger for a few years now with no problems, but my truck battery died a week after I started using it. I figured it was about time because it was an old battery, so I went out and purchased a new one. My new truck battery died after only two weeks. It was necessary for me to leap. I got in my truck and decided to unplug the charger. I've been using it for two weeks and have had no problems. Keep in mind that it is draining my battery even when I am not using it. This was never an issue with my previous Aukey charger.
