A screen protector is unnecessary but I paid a lot for mine, and I would rather not have it exposed to the elements
Selected User Reviews For OtterBox Defender Screenless Series Rugged Case & Holster for iPhone Xs & iPhone X - Non-Retail Packaging - Big Sur (with Microbial Defense)
The battery case lasted a few days less than a year, and the cover of the port fell off due to general wear and the plastic frame around the port broke in half. Also, the case does not work with edge-to-edge screens. It would cause my Flolab nano screen protector to pop up from the corners because the plastic shell pushed against them. All of the failures in the case occurred at the port area, so overall, the case retained a high degree of structural integrity.
I have to admit that I rarely write reviews because I don't typically have the time. In order for a product to really wow me and exceed my expectations, it needs to surprise me and go beyond my expectations. Due to the price and the fact that this case is sold at Walmart for $40, I was initially hesitant to purchase it. This same case is sold at Walmart for $10 less. The Otterbox website is more expensive and you need to order directly from them. I was pleased to see that the seller (Prune Danish) was an authorized Otterbox retailer on the back of the packaging when I received the product. It was in Otterbox packaging wrapped in plastic and the back of the packaging stated that the seller was Otterbox official. As soon as I opened the box, I saw my Otterbox case in perfect condition. It fits my phone perfectly, too. Thank you so much for taking the chance to save some money! I am happy that I did!.
It seems that my daughter cracked the back of her phone. I would suggest she find an armorbox that will completely cover the back glass, rather than having it replaced (back glass). Due to the added support of the case, the entire back of the phone is protected, so she doesn't have to worry about the rest of the phone.
OtterBox is my go-to brand for a number of reasons I left my cell phone on the roof of the As I was driving south of Los Angeles, I got on the freeway I heard the phone fall off the roof at 60 to 65 mph. I am happy to report that the phone has not been damaged Only minimal scratching was found on OtterBox. One of the strongest cases you can buy!.
The case should easily protect the phone from dropping or damaging, but it takes some effort to remove the phone from the holster and then place it back in the case. As my prior holster dropped the phone and cracked the screen, I would rather have ruggedness than ease of fitting.
Despite its small size and robust nature, it perfectly fits my phone and keeps it handy on my belt. It's clearly well-designed. It is made and I have no worries that I'll lose it or it will slip out of the holster or fall off my belt.
This case is very durable. In the past three months, the Defender is the only case I've used. The number of times I've dropped my phone is beyond count, but neither the phone nor the case has been damaged.
However, I had difficulty putting it on at first, so if you have trouble with your hands you may need to ask someone to do it.
