Is there a 2m/440 mag mount ham antenna that anyone is using?
W8mrd, I use it for a 2/440 antenna and it works great.
I'm curious about the pad's thickness. Is it adaptable to different circumstances?
Part 8895400 is a steel plate with a thickness of about 1/16". It isn't adaptable.
Is this something that could be used on the roof of a golf cart?

it appears to be effective The only issue I have with it is that the instructions should be made available on Amazon ahead of time; it says you need three days of temperatures above 70 degrees for the adhesion to work, which is difficult to achieve in the middle of the winter

I tried those flimsy phone magic mounts, a couple of magnets underneath the 3rd brake light mount, and so on. A 3x3" adhesive plate will suffice. Clean the roof surface with alcohol, apply the adhesive strips, and let it cure in the sun for a couple of hours. Up to 85 mph, the antenna is as sticky as glue. br>I'd buy a bunch of them and sell them to Ford dealers or the aftermarket for a profit.

FOR OUR 2019 FORD F150, THIS WAS A REQUIREMENT. LIGHT WON'T STICK TO ALUMINUM, SO I CLEANED THE AREA, STUCK IT IN PLACE, AND THE MAGNET NOW WORKS!.
