I looked into phone mounts for a long time. I've used both a magnet and an air vent mount in the past. I needed something that was both durable and adaptable. This one appealed to me, so I installed one in my Lexus RX350 and another in our Toyota Tacoma. So far, we've been very happy with the results. I'll update my review if we run into any problems in the near future. I also appreciate the fact that it comes with a 12-month warranty. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: After about three months, I've updated my review. In response to someone else's comment that the gray part of the garment bubbles in the heat- It may do so, but it causes no harm, and the bubbles will eventually disappear. It's not a problem in the least. Both of my holders are in good shape. This is by far the best holder I've ever seen or used. I've included a photo to demonstrate how my husband adhered the suction cup alone. REMEMBER TO CLEAN YOUR DASH THOROUGHLY FIRST.
I would strongly suggest it. After trying nearly everything on the market, this is by far the best car phone holder I've ever found. The extension feature, as well as the flexibility to reposition it, are fantastic! Suction and adhesiveness were insufficient to hold a heavy phone on the dash board or windshield by themselves. To keep it from falling out of the windshield, I had to use suction and position the extended arm over the dashboard (see photo). The front brackets could be redesigned to be deeper and possibly adjustable, with the ability to better grab and secure thick and heavy phones that use high-capacity batteries (such as mophie). It is the most durable and reliable car phone holder to have, especially when driving over bumpy roads, and the price is reasonable for the quality of the product. It comes highly recommended!.
The suction cup melted to the plate the first time it was used. While driving, it was exposed to direct sunlight for about two hours. And it was a chilly 30 degrees outside. It was a huge let down.
It is very simple to set up. For my car (a Toyota Corolla), it is light, small, and comfortable. I'm overjoyed because I can mount it on the windshield or the dashboard and it will remain completely stable. I was concerned that the phone would slide from side to side or fall off while driving, but the clip is sturdy and secure. It also comes with a small clip that I can use to attach the phone to the air vent when I switch cars. It was a fantastic purchase that I wholeheartedly endorse.
I have a 2014 Kia Soul, which has a circle in the middle, and the stand fit my car perfectly. This is an excellent purchase. It wasn't heavy or bulky in any way.
This phone holder isn't suitable for all phones. My phone has a pop socket on the back, and it doesn't seem to hold up well in the mount. It doesn't take into account a thicker phone—it's only universal for length and width, not depth. I won't be able to return it because I threw the box away. Given that it was advertised as universal, this is a major letdown.
It's well-made, extremely stable, and simple to use. After buying a similar model from the vendor, I decided to buy this phone holder. This model, like the other, is extremely well-made and not at all flimsy. It enables you to place the phone in almost any position you can imagine. The phone is held in place by firm "jaws" that grip the phone firmly but gently. With the opening at the bottom, you can quickly charge your phone and remove it with a single button press. My iPhone 5 was protected by an otterbox case, which kept the phone in place. The phone is held in place by the padded backing. Rather than putting the phone on the window, I mounted it on my dashboard with a weighted bean bag mount so that I could see it clearly. This is simply a matter of personal taste. I can adjust the phone's position horizontally or vertically as needed for phone calls or GPS thanks to the suction mount. When I get a call, I can simply put it on speaker and use it as a hands-free phone, which is legal in my state.
After that, I gave it another three days before using it for my phone. It was only able to hold my phone for about an hour before it fell over! My iPhone XR is protected by a clear iPhone case with a flat fingering. Unfortunately, the grip and width were both issues. The adhesive on this product does not work, so I would not recommend it.
