It's very sturdy, and it can hold my phone in landscape orientation without falling over. It also locks in my phone very securely. My only complaint is that the hanging must be pushed into your vent for it to clip in; I'm not sure if that's long enough for every car, but it fits the Ford and BMW vents perfectly.

Overall, I was very pleased with it. The back base of the device cracked a little one day as I was applying it and locking it in. It could've been a flaw or just my own willpower. Whatever the case may be. I emailed a photo and a brief description, as well as a request for a replacement. I was immediately greeted via messenger, and after some back-and-forth chat, the issue was resolved, and a new part was on its way. During this time, I ordered another holder from the same company, which I like even better. As part of my job, I deliver and drive a variety of vehicles. I now have two holders, one for each of my two cars, and I adore them. Mistakes are bound to occur. Defaults can be found in products. This company, on the other hand, stood behind it and made certain that I was satisfied. Other drivers have since asked me about this holder.

It has a good grip on the phone. The construction appears to be of good quality for plastic, which is required to reduce the weight and leverage applied to the vents. I was able to attach it to my car's vents with just the right amount of weight savings. Because the ball head and clamp adjustment screws are made of metal, there is no need to worry about their durability. The adjustable phone holder's inner workings feel and sound like plastic, but not in a cheap way. If it's of the same quality as the device's body, I'm confident it'll last. br>br>The pads on the sides and base are the only parts of the phone that come into contact with it, and they're "grippy" enough to keep it in place even when bumped. Even if you don't have a case, there should be no problems with scratching. br>br>Adjusting the position after installation is difficult because your fingers must fit into the small gap between the housing and the vent. It can be done, but perhaps they can make it easier on future models of the product. br>br>Overall, this is a good product; I'll keep you updated if there are any issues down the road, but I don't expect any.

It won't stay in place on the vent. My vents are in good working order. I tighten it according to the directions. I gave it back to you.

This is for my iPhone 11 Pro Max, which I'm going to install in my late model Dodge Challenger. Between the UConnect screen and the driver gauges, the device fits perfectly in the dash air vent louvers. br>br>Even on long trips, the phone stays put and doesn't wiggle downward or vibrate, which was a problem with my previous device. br>br>It's well engineered with quality mounting hardware and a block below the adjustable louver clip (no spring-loaded louver clip). This prevents the device from putting torque on your vent louvers, resulting in damage to the appearance of your vent. br>br>What else can I say except that this has proven to be the best mount for heavier smart phones I've ever seen!.

It's the perfect size for the vents in my 2014 Highlander. It's also secure because the clip on the vent has a screw down tightener. The part of the holder that holds the phone is quite large and appears to fit almost any phone. It's compatible with my iPhone 8 and, once again, it's extremely secure. Last weekend, I went on a trip that included some pretty bumpy roads (which would have knocked other phone holders off), and it never fell off. I am overjoyed!.
