As much as I know this product is mainly used for skincare, I purchased this item when my wife and I both caught a nasty cold and started experiencing difficulty breathing and clogged sinuses. We were both miserable with stuffy noses and a wet cough (sorry, but it's true) in the days following our negative COVID results (once we got over the panic). My life has been made so much easier because of this! With the steam rolling out in less than a minute after it has been filled up with water, we can turn this on and get steam. Each of us took turns holding our faces over it for some much-needed warmth and moisture. I enjoyed it very much. Since both of us have recovered, we can move on to other things.
