There is a difference in shape from what is advertised, which is one of the reasons I bought it! It's disappointing to hear that. As of yet, I am unsure if this makes a difference in results, but I explicitly wanted the image that appears in the product thumbnails and the one I received is actually a heart. The least that can be said is that it is annoying.

Aside from the good, there are also bad things

As with all products, there are sure to be pros and cons. There is one thing it does not appear to be the same as pictured It doesn't protrude more on one side than the other The shape of the two ridges of the heart is the same. Another problem is that this does not work well with every oil/serum, so you may have to use more than you wanted to get it moving the way you wanted. The packaging is the last and most annoying thing. It is clearly apparent, that the packaging is cute, however the stone was taped over so it would stay in the box, which is completely unnecessary, and has left behind gross glue residue. Since this is a product being used on my face, I usually use Goo Gone, however, I decided against that since it is a product being used on my face. Could they explain why they packaged it in such a way? As far as pros go, this tool does what it is supposed to do in a reasonable amount of time, and it will not steal your time. In addition to the cute packaging, it comes with a tiny sachet to keep the stone in, and an instruction booklet that shows you how to use it (although it could have been a bit more in-depth). As a whole, I am pleased with my purchase however, I would likely try another if I had a similar opportunity.

I've noticed that it has increased blood flow to my face more than using my fingers, and it feels great when I apply it on top of My favorite way to keep my tool cool is by putting it in the fridge.
