Questions & Answers

I've tried Nair before, but it burns. Will this burn as well?

Both of them have been used. I had to purchase special cream after Nair burned me so badly. Veet is a fantastic individual. There is no annoyance.

What is the mechanism behind it?

You spray it on (I always smooth it down a little to make sure it covers all the hair), wait the specified amount of time, and then wipe it off. Because I have a lot of hair, simply rinsing with water isn't always enough. As a result, I use a bath cloth to ensure that all of the hair is removed.

Sprays ineffectively
3/5

This struck me as a fantastic idea for those who don't want to wax or save time by shaving. I'm not sure if I received a faulty bottle, but the spraying cap was awful. Only a few drops of the spray came out after I pressed on it for ten minutes. The cap eventually broke, resulting in a mess of foam. br>br>I can't even tell you if the product worked or not because I couldn't use it.

Veet Hair Remover is a product that is used to remove unwanted hair from the body
5/5

My leg prayers have been answered with this product. This product was purchased to replace another hair removal spray, and it is effective! The product has no unpleasant odor, leaves my skin feeling smooth, removes all hair (except in difficult areas), and inhibits hair growth. So that I didn't run out, I set up a subscription.

Except for one thing
5/5

This works great; spray it on, then find something to do for 10 minutes and you're good to go. Unless you're doing your legs, arms, or bikini area, in which case you'll go through a can in a single use. Every week, I place two orders. Because I dislike baby hair, I shave my arms, legs, and bikini line.

IF YOU HATE RAZOR CUTTING, THIS IS A MUST HAVE! This is what I used on my legs
5/5

I didn't shave them for six months. I've always had a bad habit of chopping them up. This is something I tried. This is something I'm going to use from now on. I did leave it on for an hour and a half. There were no hairs left. My legs were incredibly silky. I'm sold on VEET and won't be cutting any more. I wasn't sure how well it would work. I really hope they don't stop selling this product because I didn't get a rash after using it, and I'm a redhead. Skin that is very light. AN AMAZING PRODUCT!.

The spray container doesn't have enough product
3/5

Because I have PCOS, my hair grows thicker and faster than the average woman's. I'm always experimenting with new ways to get rid of the excess hair. I suppose this product does its job. My legs, on the other hand, require an entire spray container. There was almost insufficient hair removal to completely cover my legs, so there were a few areas where hair was not completely removed. Spending $10 every time I want smooth legs does not appear to be cost effective. In addition, it does not last as long as shaving. br>br>Does it get rid of thicker hair? Yes. Is it a good investment? - Is it worthwhile for me to make the investment? Please accept my apologies for not being able to help you.

It's a fantastic product that I can't find in stores
5/5

If you despise shaving, this is the product for you! Simply spray on, wait five minutes (or longer if your hair is coarse), and then rinse. The hair on Viola is no longer there. Nothing could possibly be more straightforward. There will be no nicks in the future! I swear there was no monetary incentive for me to write this. It's also a hit with my daughter. My hair has begun to thin out again over time.

On dark long hair, it looks fantastic
4/5

I gave this product a four-star rating because, while it works wonders on dark, long hair, the bottle is insufficient for a single application. br>br>I need two bottles for each use, so if I do hair removal four times a month, I'll need eight bottles, two for each use, for a total of $80. br>br>Another disadvantage of this product is that it spreads all over the place when sprayed on your legs, so please lay down something like a plastic sheet or paper towels. br>br>If you have the money, go for it; it will definitely work for you. However, as someone on a budget, this will hurt my wallet more than ever, so I'll look into the cream, which is $5 less expensive. br>br>The smell isn't as bad as nair, which is the worst product on the market and burned my skin to a crisp.

WARNING: DEPILATORY POISONING is a type of depilatory poisoning
3/5

You will get sick from using this product. br>br>After a long period of inactivity, I finally decided to give this product a try. The first thing I noticed was the "Aloe Vera" label on my bottle. "Lavender," I said, despite the fact that it wasn't the same product as advertised. It wasn't a big deal; I just wanted to try out the Veet product for the first time, so I did. It was fantastic; my skin was silky smooth, and all of the hairs were removed in under 10 minutes. br>br>So, of course, I completed the first leg in its entirety. Then I rinsed it. All good. Then it was time for the second leg. THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM BEGAN. I'm walking to watch TV while waiting for it to do its thing until the timer goes off and I feel LIGHTHEADED. My thoughts continued to whirl around in my head. I broke out in a cold sweat shortly after, and my dizziness worsened. I had a sudden urge to use the restroom, so I dashed there. Sure enough, I threw all of the food I'd eaten down the toilet, trembling and sweating profusely. When I looked in the mirror, I was deathly pale, with yellow lips. It took a few moments for me to realize it was THIS product, and I had no choice but to wait, remove it from my second leg, rinse it, and throw it away. This product contains a toxic chemical known as "Calcium Hydroxide," according to the manufacturer. This is the first time a hair removal product has caused me to become depilatory poisoned simply by inhaling it. It didn't even have a date of expiration until December 20, 2022. As a result, WARNING: You may become ill.
