I haven't used Nair in a long time (it's what I used before I learned to shave when I was a kid). But, because of an injury, I can't reach or bend as well as I used to, so shaving is out. Enter Nair. I'll admit that the smell is still quite unpleasant, and I doubt that Nair will ever smell good. It's simple to use, but you'll need a decently thick coat to get it to work properly, so a bottle will only last you two uses. That's a bummer because I've done it three times now. I have sensitive skin, but I am not prone to chemical burns, so it worked perfectly for me. So it didn't irritate my skin at all, and I was able to leave it on for the maximum amount of time to ensure that removal was successful without causing any chemical burns. I wouldn't use this product for a long time because I prefer shaving, but it does the job and I'll use it until my injury heals.
It's best to put it on when your legs are completely dry. Even though I wasn't standing under the water, I couldn't get it to work in the shower. It worked much better the next time I put it on before getting in the shower. It leaves my legs feeling very smooth, but just like shaving, the hair grows back after a day or two. Unfortunately, I did not notice any difference in my KP after using. It also takes a lot of effort, and I'm only capable of doing my legs 5 times. I've used it six times with one bottle, so I think it's a bit pricey for the amount of time it lasts. The odor is also quite chemically burning, which is to be expected. It's not bad overall.
So far, I've tried Veet Gel Hair Remover Cream with Essential Oils, Neomen Hair Removal Cream, and this, and I believe this is the best. br>All three worked - removing hair from the body But, because I have thick hair, I had to wait longer for Veet, and I had to scrape the hair off with a spatula. Veet, on the other hand, has a distinct stench. br>The odor of Neomen was better, but there was still some odor. It's not bad at all. Neomen was a gentler version of Veet in that it didn't require the use of a spatula. Even so, it took me the entire 10 minutes to successfully remove the hair. br>Nair, this product is extremely fast. I believe it took me no more than 5 minutes to achieve similar results. And this one appears to dissolve the entire hair, whereas the other two products only attack hair that is close to the skin. The other two products appear to target the root of the hair, but Nair weakens the entire strand, making it easier to remove. br>br>So far, I haven't had any skin issues while using it. I haven't had any problems with the other two products, so it's possible that it's just because my skin isn't as sensitive, but I didn't have any problems with this one. br>And, most importantly, this product has no odor! I've read reviews of other Nair products with bad odors, but because of the cocoa butter smell, this one doesn't have any. br>As a result, I'm a big fan.
I broke out in a rash as soon as I used this product, despite following the directions on the bottle to a tee. Fortunately, I had only done a test strip on one leg, so I wasn't rashed all over, but I will not be using this product again. I also didn't notice any hair being removed (though this could be due to my thin hair). If you have sensitive skin, I recommend sticking to a razor. It also has a foul odor, but this has no bearing on the product.
To get rid of coarse hairs, it didn't work. Only the tiniest fine hairs were removed. The instructions are very serious. br>br> It's time to apply it. PLEASE DO NOT RUB! Even a small amount of rubbing will cause the skin's top layer to be burned.
When I did, it felt as if my skin had accompanied me. It was excruciatingly painful for days afterward! This is something I won't do again.
My wife complained that it wasn't as smooth as the others she'd tried before and that it made her feel uneasy.
After reading the directions, I tried it on my leg and not only did it not work on my hair, but it also gave me a nasty chemical burn. I figured it was because I had taken a shower first that I hadn't done it correctly, so I tried it again on my arms (which have thinner hair) and it didn't work. I set a timer for 10 minutes because there's a warning about leaving it on for longer than that, so I didn't get burned the second time, but overall I'm disappointed and disappointed that this didn't work. It should be noted that I have thin black hair that is straight and straight. It had an odd odor to it, and it was difficult to remove from my hands. I'd like to be refunded my money.
