It works really well on my peach fuzz, but it burned my skin when I didn't buy it from Avon, and Avon said they couldn't guarantee that it was their product, so I'd recommend buying it from Avon to be safe.

This item does exactly what it claims to do. Hair is removed. Since Olay hair remover was discontinued, I've been on the lookout for a replacement. This method works well and is simple to implement. It's just a matter of not leaving it on for too long or it'll burn and leave a red mark. The red usually fades in a few hours if you follow the directions on the label.
My skin had been ruined. I tested a small area on my cheek and found it to be fine, so I applied it to the rest of my face later. I left it on for two minutes, and when I took it off, my face was on fire! It looked like I had chemical burns on my face, and it even seemed to remove layers of skin. The intense redness persisted for four days. 5 days. My skin is still rough and puffy from the attempt to heal after a week, and my hair has already begun to grow back. br>br>In the photos, my face is very shiny because I applied almond oil to soothe the skin and stop the burning. I had no acne or "holes" on my face before, but I did have some minor acne scars, so all of the marks in the photos were caused by the product.
This morning, I tried it for the first time. Other reviews stated that it should not be left on for too long. After 4 minutes, I removed it and noticed that there were no facial hairs left on my face. I have sensitive, fair skin, and it did not make me red or itchy, as some people have claimed. For the past few years, I've been using a different brand, which has been hit or miss. This one is a resounding success!.
*This is my first Amazon review* I decided to try this Avon facial hair remover because it was advertised as being suitable for'sensitive skin. ' It felt like a chemical burn even though I only had it on for two minutes. It was too late for me to follow the instructions and gently wash it away with lukewarm water. To read the entire set of instructions, you must lift the label. (Which is exactly what I did. ) The final line is written in all capital letters: CHEMICAL BURNS CAN OCCUR IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE USE INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS. The word "CAUTION" should be added by Avon. CHEMICAL BURNS MAY OCCUR. Period. This product should not be advertised as being suitable for people with sensitive skin. br>I've been using Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover for years, and while it's not advertised for sensitive skin, it's much gentler on the face than this product. br>I wasted $21 on a product that will be thrown away. Amazon sends you the following message: 'We are unable to accept returns on this item. Items with flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to Amazon due to safety concerns. 'br>This is listed in the Amazon returns section under Hazardous Materials: 'Amazon does not accept hazardous materials such as flammable liquids or gases. ' For information on service, warranty, returns, and refunds, contact the manufacturer directly. 'br>I'm also going to contact Avon about this.
I needed to find a new cream after Sally Hansen discontinued the one I was using. This product works well and does not irritate my skin as other products do. I only do it every one to two weeks and only leave it on for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. It also has a pleasant odor.
It's good stuff, gentle enough to use on a daily basis if desired, and it doesn't stink (too much). You'll have to deal with this problem if you're a woman of a certain age. This, in my opinion, is the most practical solution.
It may cause your skin to become red if you have sensitive skin. It performs admirably. I apply it to my upper lip, but I leave it on for a longer period of time than recommended, such as 5 minutes. My skin becomes irritated and red. The hair does fall out, but I think I still have a few stray ones. So, if you have sensitive skin like me, proceed with caution.
