This is something that my boyfriend owns and uses on his pubic hair. It works great, but because the blade is dull (he's had it for over two years), it only leaves a stubble now. br>It can cut if the skin isn't taut, so, as a couple of other people have said, it's best to be erect.
The Remington PG6025 is the model I have. When I plug in the charging cord, the green light turns on, indicating that mine is completely dead. It also appears to be fully charged. Maybe I'm lucky, maybe it's a fluke, but my Remington PG6025 works fine when the battery is completely dead when plugged in.
My charger indicated that it could only handle 120 volts. I purchased the groomer unaware that I would be spending three years in Europe. Before I left, I purchased a small, low-cost voltage converter (charging it requires very little wattage) and used the groomer without issue in Europe for three years, and I continue to use it in the United States.
I wouldn't put it on my sensitive areas, such as your groin, jewelry, and so on.

YES. (It is now a year. ) Almost a year ago, I purchased this. I'm a woman, and I use it to shave my cooter hair to a manageable fuzz. Ladies. br>br> Why hasn't anyone informed me of this? If you're thinking about getting an electric razor for your lower lip, DO IT. I only paid $15 for it, and it's still going strong after all these years. Razor burn is no longer an issue. There will be no more expensive razor blades in the $30 range. Shaving takes less than half the time and effort it used to. What used to take me thirty minutes now takes me no more than five minutes. br>br>I can't say enough about how much I like it.
It died after only a week. To see what was wrong, I dismantled it. The majority of small battery-operated electronics develop a faulty connection, but are otherwise *perfectly fine* and repairable. able : )br>br>Unfortunately, this shaver appears to be poorly constructed, with numerous points where wires can be seen. When solder comes into contact with other components, it shorts out. br>br>To put it mildly, I'm disappointed, and I'm hoping the seller and/or Remington will reach out to make things right. I'll keep using my straight razor until then. There is no need for wires. )br>br>Edit: )br>br> The battery is still a rechargeable AA, as discovered by a previous reviewer. This device was not designed for long-term use.
This razor was a complete disaster for me. I used it to trim my beard about once a week, and it worked well for the first six months, but then it stopped working. The lights were turned on, but the razor was not. I contacted the company to see if there was anything they could do for me, but they did not respond. I took it to a battery store, where they informed me that replacing the battery was risky. In short, this razor was a waste of money for me. Furthermore, the nose trimmer is useless.
It is impossible to beat the price. I can see why this item is a best seller on Amazon and has such positive feedback. Over the years, I've purchased a LOT of trimmers (the majority of which have been all-in-ones). one kit) and their performance has varied. I primarily use the trimmer to buzz my head, face, and neck down to about 1 mm (standard military cut) during the months when I don't shave my head with a triple blade razor. I made no attempt to return it or contact anyone about it; instead, I simply recycled it and chalked it up to a bad purchase. I ended up purchasing a different popular brand of trimmer from a local store.
It feels very light in your hand, and it's a fantastic product! I charged it for about 15 minutes right out of the box, and I've shaved around my beard a few times with no power loss. When shaving with a clipper, I like the shape of the head - I haven't used all of the attachments yet, but the razor and clipper are excellent! Overall, this is a fantastic device. It will be well worth the money if it lasts a year or so. To be honest, I can't believe people pay $75 for these things when there's no reason to.
I purchased this as a gift, but I have heard some negative feedback that I would like to share in this review. br>br>There is no mention of battery charging times in the instructions that come with this trimmer. I thought it was strange that there was no explanation for how to charge the battery or how to tell when it was done. Although it has an indicator light, it does not appear to turn off when the battery is fully charged. br>br>After a four-year hiatus, After an hour of charging, you can hear the motor slowing down after using the trimmer for about 1 minute. Within 4- On a 4-inch screen, 5 minutes of total use is recommended. The battery is nearly dead after an hour of charging. Repetition with an 8-minute break in between. The same results can be obtained by charging for an hour. The battery must be of low capacity or of poor quality. It's debatable whether the installed battery will last for an extended period of time; a trimmer should last at least four hours. On a battery, it lasts for 5 minutes. You have no way of knowing when the battery is fully charged because there are no instructions. br>br>I sent a message to the maker's tech support with questions about the charger and battery almost a week ago, and I have yet to receive a response. br>br>In terms of trimming and performance, the trimmer appears to be below average. The word that came out of my mouth was "mediocre. " " It's a shame that this trimmer appears to be subpar and does not perform as expected by the manufacturer.
