Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with Alexa by Amazon?

No, it isn't compatible with Amazon Alexa.

Is there a 9 with this? I use a 5mm shaft with a 10mm, 11mm, or 12mm guard. On my beard, do I have 5 and 12mm?

There are various types of guards. The sizes aren't stamped on the guards, but the paperwork contains a chart. According to the paperwork, the beard guards are numbered 1,2,3,5, and 6. Hair guards of 4,9,12, and 7 mm are then applied. 16mm, then three bodyguards 5 mm. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is there a 220 volt version of this product?

It can handle voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts. The power plug and the side of the box both state this.

According to the Amazon comparison, this one can be used for body work, whereas the Norelco 3000 cannot. What distinguishes this one from the others when it comes to body hair?

I haven't tried the Norelco 3000, but it appears to be a good body hair trimmer. Its body hair blade and attachments make it simple to use, and you can use it on any part of your body without difficulty.

Do not make a purchase
3/5

Everything was fine until it wasn't. In March of 2018, I purchased this trimmer for almost a year. It worked perfectly, and I appreciated the large number of attachments available. Between charges, the battery lasted for a long time. There were no complaints until yesterday when it stopped working. br>br> I've been trying to charge it because it doesn't seem to give any warnings before the battery dies, but I haven't had any luck. After 11 months, it's become a useless piece of garbage. Where did the art of producing high-quality goods vanish to?.

This is a product that should not be purchased! This is the second time I've ordered this razor from Amazon
3/5

The first one I purchased would turn on and off at random and would not turn off no matter what I did. I had no choice but to place it on a soft surface outside the room and leave it to vibrate until it died. I assumed it was a one-time occurrence or a faulty product, so I tried charging it again, only to have the same thing happen the next day. It was returned to Amazon, and I was sent a replacement. br>br>The new one started out better, and it didn't have this problem until about 6 months later (well past the warranty period), when it began to do the same thing as the first one. I let it run until it died, then re-charged it, and it appeared to work. It's happened a few times in the last few months at completely random times. I was able to turn it off the majority of the time. Finally, while I was at work today, it seemed to turn itself back on, and it fell off the sink, breaking into two pieces on the bathroom floor, with the main piece still vibrating. br>br>I don't recommend risking it with this electric razor because it's a pain in the buttocks.

It's a great shaver, but there are two major drawbacks
3/5

This is an excellent shaver at an excellent price; the low price is due to two major missing features, which I assume are costly to produce) and may not be necessary for you). Major Drawbacks: br>br> br>Because the main unit isn't waterproof, you'll only be able to rinse the attachments. If you get stubble into the main unit, you'll have to wipe it out, which is difficult and time-consuming. br>There is no light to indicate battery level or even whether it is charging, on, or low. You're left flying blind, and you'll have to charge it whenever you have a chance.

After 2- After three uses, the trimmer began to turn on by itself
3/5

After 2- After three uses, the trimmer began to turn on by itself, and I was unable to turn it off. I was also unable to turn it off after charging. I assumed it was a travel lock, but I tried everything else and nothing worked.

Turns on at random intervals; It is not possible to turn it off
3/5

The shaver works well, but it turns on and off at random and cannot be turned off. I thought the one I bought was defective, so I returned it and ordered another, but it did the same thing as the first. So, a good shaver with a significant design flaw that renders it useless.

Ideal for in-home use
5/5

Haircuts and beard trims can be done at home. My husband recently moved to the United States from Brazil, where he was used to having his hair and beard professionally styled once a week (for around $7). We decided to buy this kit because I told him we couldn't afford it here. He'd done his beard and cut hair before, but nothing professional. He's doing an amazing job after six weeks of practice, and he's even cutting his hair in the back of his head with this tool (I only do his neckline). He learns how to cut his hair by watching youtube videos and observing how stylists cut their clients' hair. We're grateful he can keep looking great while we don't have to pay a stylist/barber every week! He also bought a straight edge razor to get the clean edges around the beard and at the hairline, and we're thankful he can keep looking great while we don't have to pay a stylist/barber every week!.

Trimmer is amazing
5/5

I had another trimmer and was hesitant to buy this one because of the low price, but the price was too good to pass up, so I bought it. I'm glad I got it because it outperforms my old trimmer. It does a better job in a fraction of the time, has a quick recharge time, and comes with a large number of pieces, making it ideal for a haircut or beard trim. I would strongly suggest it.

The value of marketing lies is undervalued. Glass fiber reinforcement is not used in the guards. It's obvious that they have abs. Glass fiber reinforced pa6 is used in some of the cutters. gf30 (nylon) gf30 (nylon) gf30 (nylon But marketing lies, marketing lies, marketing lies, marketing lies, and marketing lies, marketing lies, marketing lies, Inaccurate descriptions aren't lies; they're a form of marketing! If you don't require the other trimmer heads, purchase the $19 model. br>br>There isn't any kind of charger/battery indicator. anywhere. br>br>Instead of a switch, it has a button. As a result, you may not be able to turn it off if the electronics fail. You can't get this thing wet. br>br> If you read the reviews, you'll notice that there have been failures due to water infiltration or other power issues. br>br>Mine wouldn't turn on until it was charged, which is strange because lithium ion batteries are usually shipped partially charged. But I have no idea how tense it was. As soon as I plugged it in, it began to work. I'll probably only charge it once a week or so. Or, who knows, every fifth use. 15v/5 is written on the label. 4w. The device's temperature increased significantly when it was charged. br>br>I used to have a ten-year-old Norelco that either died or became annoying (it was Ni-Cad). a lithium-ion battery). Otherwise, I liked it; I had substituted a wahl for it. This was extremely unsettling and jarring. The norelco's blades were polished on both sides, and they were wider, rounder, and much nicer. br>br>The blade on this new Norelco isn't as nice as the other trimmer's; it's not as polished and has some sharp edges, but it's still far more comfortable. Additionally, it covers a larger area. I prefer the wider blade because it appears to be more well-polished. So maybe it's a choice, or maybe I'm just unlucky within the part's spec, but I suspect this will last the predetermined number of years before failing. It's a trimmer, to be precise. It satisfies my needs. Simply fire the marketing staff and focus on developing high-quality products: /br>br>UPDATE: /br>br> br>It's been a while since I've seen you. Every time I use it (probably every other week), I'm relieved that it's not as sharp as the Wahl and that it's more comfortable. I've never tried to charge it: br>br> Having a seemingly reliable shaver without any gimmicks has changed my life. I gave it a star because it is significantly more comfortable than the $19. There's no stupid vacuum, and the height adjustment isn't integrated. All I needed was a decent trimmer head and a decent runtime.
