Starting with a three-star rating because it appears promising, but I'll check back in 30 days to see if my patchy areas have improved. I've been growing for a few months now, and my sides are very thin and spread out, as well as my cheeks being spotty and not growing as long. The first three photos were taken on the first day of use. I'll check back in on July 27th to see if any of the spotty areas have grown or if the sides and cheek area have filled out. I've read a few other reviews, but they all seem to suggest that the hair is shaved short and that the growth is longer. There is little evidence. I've been trying to grow for a long time and it always comes out looking like the photos. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The bald spots are still there, and there is no new growth. It's less noticeable with hair around it, but if I cut it off and start over, I'll lose a star. I'll update the picture and then update again in 30 days. br>br>Update after 60 days It didn't work for me because of this simple reason. Patches are the same.

Everything is fantastic, except for the most crucial aspect. Razor blades that need to be replaced. Manufacture has yet to respond. Nothing came up in a Google search. Nothing came up in Amazon's search. So you get five blades and have to throw it away after that. Not good.

The packaging was fantastic, and it was extremely well-organized. The bamboo brush is fairly firm, and everything was enclosed. That isn't going to change anytime soon, in my opinion. The bristles of the other brushes were also gentle on the beard, and the straight razor was simple to use. Both the oil and the balm have a pleasant scent and went on smoothly against my beard. In addition, the scissors felt heavy in the hands, which is a significant plus. br>br>I'd like number ten, the four bottles of beard oil, or two bottles of beard oil and two cans of beard balm, if possible! br>br>In the future, I will definitely recommend to friends. br>br>Will also do monthly reviews. br>br>Thank you, Devin,br>br>.

The version I received was satisfactory

The product displayed at the time of review is not the same as the one I received when I placed my order. This appears to be the product I ordered on Amazon, but it is not the product I ordered. The beard wash and straightening roller were not included in the version I ordered, but a shavette was included. As a result, you might not find the review useful. br>br>I'm a big fan of the brush. It's stiff, but not too scratchy for a beard; the comb seems to work fine, but my beard is short, so I don't use it very often. I keep the balm in my travel kit and don't use it often, but I haven't had any problems with it. br>br>The shavette is beautiful, but the stainless steel isn't completely rustproof. I do have to deal with a few spots of rust. I used the shavette to learn how to use a straight razor, and I really like the way it shaves, though the blades are a little longer than standard half DE safety razor blades. I really like them, but I'm having trouble finding replacements. I only have a few of the ones that came with it left, which is a bummer. br>br>The beard oil seemed nice at first, but it went rancid in a matter of weeks.

To be honest, I didn't have high hopes. For the same price as this entire kit, I purchased beard oil. But, why not, I gave them a shot? br>And I must say, I was quite impressed. It's a great oil. The dropper is a personal favorite of mine. It allows me to extract only what I need from the bottle without wasting any. I like the balm, and I like how the tin can be removed. It's nearly impossible to remove the lid from a push-on tin when your fingers are covered in beard oil. br>Compared to the more expensive stuff, my beard is actually softer. Who'd have guessed? br>However, I do wish it had a stronger masculine scent. I really like the piney woodsy scents, and this one has an orangey citrus scent to it. It isn't bad, but it isn't my favorite. (I'm not docking a star for this because it's my personal preference)br>The brush is fairly standard. The straight razors are excellent. It's well-made, and putting the blades in is a breeze. I prefer to shave with a straight razor, though this is a beginner's razor. I'm going to start looking for a straight razor with reusable blades as soon as possible. However, those are quite expensive, and this works just as well. So, overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase, and it would make a good starter pack for newbies for the money.

This is a fantastic beard kit. The razor is fantastic, and since starting to use the oil, I've noticed my beard growing fuller and thicker. Even if I've just gotten home from work and my beard is filthy, the brush and comb leave it feeling clean and soft.
