The stand can stand up to the long handle razor and a brush very well.
It is not guaranteed that the 26 mm brush will fit, as MÜHLE does not currently make brushes bigger than 25 mm Knot size. However, it is highly probable that the brush will not fit, as this is made to fit brushes up to 23 mm in diameter.
The answer to that is not clear to me.

A wonderful piece of German craftsmanship. It held my Muhle brush and Merkur razor well. Although you will have to pay a little more for this stand, it is German made and you do get what you pay I display it on my bathroom counter because it looks gorgeous. This is an experience you won't regret.
The stand has some heft to it, seems to be very well constructed and solid, and the bottom of the stand is soft so it will not scratch or move from the sink counter if you place it there. My razor is a Muehle R89 Razor, and this stand was designed specifically to hold it as it holds the razor upside down by utilizing how the razor handle's neck was designed. I do not believe other razors will work with it as it holds the razor upside down. As far as I can tell, the stand should work for brushes other than Muehle brushes. Using the Dovo Silvertip Badger Brush with the Micarta handle with the sand does not present any problems, and I am confident that other brushes with a standard wide base will work as well. My overall opinion is that I am very happy with the stand and its construction. It feels high quality and I will be purchasing.
