It doesn't sharpen at all. I returned mine. Don't waste your time.
A sharpener like this should be able to handle a plastic pencil if it is one that will be sharpened.

They are just the right size. Voici a tip The ideal way to sharpen pencils (especially gel pencils such as NYX Milk) is to place them in the freezer for 15 seconds, just to make sure they stay sharp!.
There are chin hairs and eyebrow hairs that are awful, coarse, and I need tweezers to pluck them. The vast majority of the tweezers that I have seen are not capable of tweezing. There have been about four others that I have gone through without success - It's great! I've been using others, but these are much better. Not enough tension, not enough grip on certain hair, etc. I love them! Having enough tension and the ability to grip both fine and coarse hair, they are perfectly aligned. In the past, I have got to the point where I could grasp and pull hairs so short that you could hardly As a last resort, I tried these cheap tweezers which are less than $6 and worked perfectly! I guess I had pretty much resigned myself to paying $20 or $30 for a "high end" pair of tweezers but they worked fantastically! This is a recommendation I would heartily BREAKING UPDATE** - Tuesday, February 27 - Wednesday, February 28 Because I liked the first one so much, I purchased a second one. I was disappointed that the second one wasn't of the same quality as the first. I was unable to grasp any of the hairs with the end of the needle because it was not sharp enough. They sent me a new one after I went through the exchange process. I have the same problem. My second attempt at setting up an exchange was successful. This is the 3rd tweezer, and it makes the same mess as the first. Even though I haven't succeeded in tweezing any hairs, I do believe I ripped apart my skin in the process. This is not a product I would buy.
Tweezerman sharpeners have been a part of my life for years, and my last one broke, so I decided to look for This one is the only one I could find that is exactly like it so I chose it. With this one, I am able to sharpen my soft eyebrow pencil even better without leaving marks on them. It comes with a built-in pick for cleaning that makes it easy to use. (Have not needed to do that yet, but my old sharpener sure could have used one since my pencils were always breaking in it. 4) It has a cover that keeps the shavings inside until I'm ready to empty it, which is a given for any sharpener I want. As well as the great price, this was a great deal. I highly recommend this book.

SALLYS IS THE PLACE I ALWAYS BUY FROM. A Sharpener for the massive eye crayons can be difficult to come by. I HAVE SEEN THEM SHARPEN AND BREAK OFF HALF OF THE PENCIL WHEN THEY go inside the sharpener! I got a great result from this one!.
A crack appeared on the clear top part of the product when I received it. While sharpening, this part does not stay on the rest of the sharpener. The sharpener is practically useless, since it is so difficult to hold onto and use.
There is no way the video portrayed it to work, and I would have wasted my money on this device. It pulverized my covergirl eyeliner.
