Questions & Answers
Before sharpening your eyeliner, place it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
That's correct. I recently bought it and was able to sharpen my Nars velvet matte lip pencil with it. On the larger side, you'll need to remove the 'guard,' but it worked perfectly!
No, this sharpener does not accommodate jumbo crayons.
Maybelline loves it, but Kylie hasn't tried it yet.

Finally, I've found one that does exactly what I'm looking for. Finally! When I go to use my eyeliner pencil, it doesn't fall apart, break, or break the tip. I've gone through three or four in the last year and keep throwing them out because they constantly break the tips of my gel pencil liners. I've finally found one that does exactly what it should and keeps the cap on! There will be no more messes when I remove it from my cosmetics bag because the cap has fallen off! Revlon, thank you so much!.
I had a CHANEL one for years and had grown accustomed to it, but I was looking for a less expensive alternative, and this is it! It works with both types of cosmetic pencil materials and has a fat pencil side that is extremely effective. A removable top and bottom for cleaning the sharpener, as well as a plastic pick for cleaning shavings from blades, earn extra points. It's fantastic, and I strongly advise you to try it.
For the price, this is an excellent product. NARS lip pencils are perfectly sharpened with this tool. br>br>Works with regular sized lip pencils as well.
I'm not sure what brands they had, but I tried it on NARS, Clinique (the chubby thing), Lancome, Chanel, L'Oreal, and Maybelline, and it didn't work on any of them. I have a gazillion eye pencils and a few lippies, and this sharpener doesn't work on any of them. Repeat: NONE! It's just that the opening is too small. I didn't try the very small sharpener because I already own too many. It's possible that only Revlon pencils are compatible with the small one. Heaven forbid the cosmetics industry collaborates to create a universal size!br>br>Of course, the punchline must be that this sharpener works on - REVLON is a brand of pencils. I suppose it's supposed to be amusing, and the description makes no claims about it being a universal sharpener. I'd just advise you to take those reviews with a grain of salt if they claim it is.
Apart from the fact that it works, there isn't much to say. Several eye pencil sharpeners have passed through my hands. One was made of that clear hard plastic that cracked over time, while the other was made of steel and kept breaking my pencils. I have eye pencils that are made of composite material rather than wood, so finding a sharpener that would work in that situation was difficult. This Revlon one is ideal; it didn't break my pencils and has a closed system for catching shavings. You will not be disappointed if you purchase it, especially given the low cost.
I used to use my teeth, fingernails, or keys to chip away at the wood around the eyeliner. It's much more convenient to use a sharpener. There is a smidgeon of it. There are two sizes of shavings receptacles, but the large hole can be made larger by removing one of them. I'm guessing it's a sleeve? I'm sure there's a lot of technical jargon here that I'm missing. This is a wise investment.
What a piece of garbage.
My money was a waste.
