A youtuber that swears by this mitt always has flawless tans but I used it for the first time last night and seconds after applying it, tiny fibers started to fall off and got stuck to my legs making me look like I was rubbing dirt all over myself. In the past I have used the Bondi Sands double sided mitt which is great, but when I used it last, a tiny hole ripped through the tip and the tanner seeped through. Luckily, I did not throw it away because it had the opposite effect, keeping my tan all Upon seeing my seemingly dirty legs, I immediately went in with the bondi sands and was able to smooth it a little more evenly. I washed my hands immediately afterwards so as not to repeat last year's oompa loompa hand incident. The overall feeling of this mitt is not what I expected, as it was my new fav, but I'm not sure what changed. Can the mitt be used right away or does it need a little time to shed? Was the item I received defective? could it be that this one is just bad in general.
As a result of using this mitt, all the brown synthetic hairs attached to it ended up on my skin. The tanning mousse dried quickly & didn't leave behind any residue It was like a blanket of little hairs had stuck to me. The shower was calling my name again and I had to get into the water. VITA LIBERATA, WHY DID THIS HAPPEN? I threw it out in a fit of hysteria. One of my favorite tanning mitts is the St Tropez!.
The seams of my mit are ripped and there is a hole in it. Considering that I have acrylic nails, maybe they actually did something to the seam, but I also think they should have been done better, so the holes wouldn't occur. The product is functional, but the durability could be improved.
After a friend recommended it to me, I bought It is very small, but I am able to operate it because my hands are small. It has a grittier surface than you might expect, so opt for something soft if you're looking for something softer or more fluffy. I like the applicator because it is smooth and does not absorb much product. I will likely buy it.
The size of this glove is small. The hand of my 14-year-old fits in there, but neither does my hand. My tan prevented me from using it, so I had no choice. I love it! It would be nice if there was a large size available. Since it would fit a normal adult hand size medium given two additional inches. It is a child size medium at best. Other than its size, it claims to be capable of doing what it is intended However, it is rather uncomfortable trying to put it on with a glove of that size.
Compared to my previous mitts, this one works well but it is a bit stiff at the edges. As long as I have and use a dry one, I always order three. When I take a shower, I rinse it off. It is a good color for hiding stains, since it is dark in color. Several of my old ones had seams that separated, but they held up for a long time. Hopefully these will stand up to the test of time.
I am completely blown away by this mitt! This mitt has never left any streaks or blotches or caused me to have uneven application. I have a daughter named Emily This is something that my law firm shared with me, and I am completely delighted with the purchase. It was nice to have all your help in making my decision.
