It has a lovely brown tone to it. On both Irish and Italian skin. I adore this spray, and I'm so glad I discovered it! This spray has a beautiful color tone to it. I can do a light layer or a lot of light layers, but it's still a nice brown. The self-tanner didn't turn orange at all. It's simple to use; I had to rinse the sprayer several times because it spit here and there if I didn't. br>br>I used this on my own and was able to do my entire body with no assistance. I used layers to do my face and the rest of my upper front, and it turned out beautifully with no lines or spots. It has a very fresh and sweet scent to it. br>br> I never smelled that noxious self-tanner sent not once, not twice, not three times, not once, not twice, not three times, not once, not twice, not three times, not once, not twice, That's why I've never used self-tanner before; I despise the smell of self-tanner on others. I was ecstatic when I first heard about it. br>br>I would suggest prepping with a loofa or a rocky exfoliator, which I did every other day. I couldn't believe how long the tan lasted before it started to fade. The areas where I applied thickly and didn't layer at first began to splotch, and if I wiped or rubbed my skin in those areas, it pilled up in balls and fell off, or worse, it pulled up and stayed. Make sure you exfoliate your skin. You don't have to use the Body Drench brand of body scrub, but it did a great job. I finally settled on a large salt scrub, which is fantastic. br>br>I'm not sure if you'll notice your feet and hands turning brown, but I did the first time I used it. On your tonsils, as well as the bottoms of your hands and feet, you should apply lotion or something. Wash your hands frequently; glows were a bad idea for me; they ended up sticking to the bottle a little and removing the spray when I tried to blot anywhere. That was not done by my fingers. br>br>Place a sheet or plastic on the floor in the area where you will be working. Then there's the wall in front of you. If you can use it outside or in a room where a thin layer of orange brown isn't a problem, I'd recommend it.
