Questions & Answers

I have a very light skin tone. I'm not sure how long I should leave it on or how many coats I should do. ?

I used two coats because I'm currently very pale. Allow a 10-minute drying time for the first coat. 15 minutes, followed by a 2-hour wait after the second coat, according to the bottle. The longer you wait, the darker you will become. But remember to shower and wash off any excess or it will get on your sheets (I accidentally napped with mine on lol).

Is it safe to apply to the face?

I believe it is dependent on the type of skin you have. It clung to dry spots on my dry skin when I tried it. I was able to fix it by applying my moisturizer and blending out the patches, then washing my face as usual and applying my daily skincare in the morning. After all of that, it appears to be very natural, but before those fixes, it appeared to be quite filthy (as if I had age spots!). They say on their website not to apply a moisturizer before or during development, EXCEPT for dry parts of the body (like elbows, knees, hands, and feet), so since my face is dry, I'll do that next time so it doesn't look patchy. They also say on their website that it can settle in pores and darken them, so if you have oily skin, that could be an issue, or the tanner will simply slick off - They do, however, have a face mist that they recommend.

How frequently do you apply the tan to maintain it?

Once a week, make sure to exfoliate first.

Should I apply body lotion after I shower and exfoliate but before I apply the foam to keep my skin moisturized? or is it going to be a disaster?

It has the potential to wreak havoc! The b. FAQs are a collection of frequently asked questions. The current state of the tan website is as follows:
“. We don't recommend using a moisturizer before rinsing because it could strip the tan before it develops or react with the product, resulting in discoloration. br>However, you can apply moisturizer to drier areas of skin to create a slight barrier, which prevents tan from accumulating in dry skin (think elbows, knees, hands, and feet). "However, once you've rinsed off the bronzers, you can go ahead and apply your foundation." We recommend using one every day after tanning for longer-lasting, evenly faded results. "br>br>I hope this information is useful! The FAQs were a little difficult to find, but there's a tiny link at the bottom right of their website that leads to them.

This is the best self-tanner stop in the world
5/5

Yes, as stated in the comments below, it comes out of the bottle and appears greenish/grayish on your skin at first, but after 2 minutes, or even better, ONE HOUR, as it is called, it becomes clear. You'll have the best tan you've ever had, and it'll be the best fake tan you've ever had. I love how people gave it one star but said they washed it off right away, despite the fact that it was advertised as a one-hour tan. ugh.

I really like this, but I can get it for half the price at Walmart

But I won't order it from Amazon again because I can get it at Walmart for half the price. What tanning mousse is the best?.

This is a fantastic self-tanning product
5/5

Here's a genuine review from a tanner who knows what he's talking about. I've tried everything from drugstore tans to Sephora tans to high-end tans. Loving Tan is an example of a high-end tanner. This is pure gold! Some of the negative reviews, I believe, are from people who have no idea what they're doing. br>br>First and foremost, NEVER WAIT AN HOUR FOR A SELF TANNING PRODUCT. Whatever the bottle says, I'm not buying it. Whether it's a $7 bottle or a $100 bottle, I don't care. The results will be available in 8 hours. People, beauty is suffering! Second, as someone who prefers to be 10 shades darker than everyone else, I am a difficult person to please. Most tanners don't cut it for me because I prefer a deep tan. I have a habit of doing two things. One tanning session requires three applications. After waiting 5 minutes for one application to dry, I apply the next. 2 more. Even so, some self-tanners aren't up to my standards. Tan AF tanner is a gorgeous darker shade of tan. I was taken aback by the fact that a $10 bill could be used for so many things. The $14 bottle has the potential to be quite dark. My only criticism is that the results in the photo required three applications, but I adore the color. Third, people have complained about it peeling off sheets or the grey color (second photo). Omg. To me, that's ridiculous. I got a BEAUTIFUL dark color with no hint of orange from the grey color. Tan AF nailed it when it came to color. I'm not a tanner with a golden complexion. My skin tone is a deep dark brownish tan. This is amazing. It stayed on my body the entire night. There is very little color transfer to sheets or clothing, which is fantastic. They only use a small amount of bronzer in their formula. I give it two thumbs up. br>br>Fourth, it dries in such a short amount of time. I've had a lot of self-tanners that were sticky as hell and a pain to wear for 8 hours, but this stuff dries quickly and leaves no sticky residue! Yes, that is correct! And it's the first time. There isn't a smidgeon of odor. That has never been done by another tanner! Fifth, the cost is fantastic. br>br> This will set you back $10 at Walmart. Even if I apply three times, that is incredible. The bottle is the perfect size: not too small, but not too big either. I'm a total sucker for this. It's worth a shot. Also, make sure you're well moisturized the week before you apply it, shower and exfoliate right before you apply it, and wait the entire 8 hours!!.

For the money, it's a good buy
4/5

Self-tanning product that works well. However, it isn't overly dark. The first layer was completely useless. The second one became darker. I'll just gradually increase it over the course of the coming week. I would purchase this product again. I was ghostly pale before applying, which is a bargain considering the price. After two layers, this is what I got. 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Brown tan, rather than bronze, but still a good product in its own right
5/5

It's one of the best self-tanning products I've ever used. br>You get a couple shades darker the second you put it on your skin, and you gradually get even darker over the next few hoursbr>It doesn't wash off in the shower like most tanners, it won't rub off onto your clothing, and it lasts longer than anything I've ever used coming from a DIY tan at home. br>It has a slight light The smell will wash away, but your tan will not. br>I have a tendency to apply too much self-tanner in the colder months due to the fact that I get way too pale for my liking, and as a result, my skin starts to look dirty because I'll continue to layer tanner on top of the older tan from last week without exfoliating my skin to rub off the old tan, making it appear as if I have dirt all over - on my neck, in particular But I don't have that problem with this tanner! I don't need to use as much of it to get the tan I want, and it absorbs well into my skin and fades evenly rather than in blotches when it starts to fade. Moreover, it does not turn me orange in the least, so there is no appearance of a fake tan. People have commented on how much tanner I appear to be, and I've been asked if I went to a tanning bed because of the natural brown tan this tanner produces. Though it's almost too brown, there's no orange in it at all, which I believe is necessary depending on your skin type because the brown can make my pale skin look dirty, especially on my face. However, I used this after I had gotten a little tan from the sun, and it didn't seem to help. So, if you have pale skin, I'd recommend trying a different tanner with a different tint, because I don't think the dark brown tint this gives is what you'd want. br> Overall, I would recommend this product because it is well worth a try, and I will be purchasing it again. I would simply recommend purchasing a sea salt scrub to exfoliate with in the shower, as this is the most effective way to remove any dead skin you may have in order to achieve a long-lasting, even tan. Don't forget to invest in a tanning mitt to avoid orange hands and achieve an even tan all over your body. br>I've used it four times from head to toe since purchasing it, and I'm still halfway through the bottle. Because it gives you an instantly darker complexion the moment you apply it, I'm not sure this is the tanner for you if you're looking for something subtle and less noticeable.

It appears to be very natural
5/5

I was initially concerned because of the negative reviews on this site, but I am now completely satisfied. The fact that it turns out gray is actually one of my favorite aspects of it. Because I can see it, I can make sure I rub it in thoroughly! I didn't wash it off because I didn't follow the directions. I simply waited for it to dry before moisturizing it. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it because it looks so natural. This is a fantastic product that I wholeheartedly recommend!.

For those who are just starting out
5/5

I used this product for the first time to self-tan and it worked great; it smelled great and didn't rub off on my clothes or sheets. It starts out looking green/grey, but after letting it sit for a few minutes and then rinsing it off, it looks much better. It gives off a lovely golden brown hue. Before applying any self-tanning product, make sure your skin is exfoliated and moisturized, and use a foundation brush to apply it to your face. Goodluck!.
