The last thing I expected from Cetaphil was that it would add fragrance to anything, so I did not check before buying It was a terrible error. As soon as I rubbed it on my arm, the smell did not go away. I had to wash it off
Even though I have extremely sensitive skin, I was able to use the normal cleanser just fine. Since the gentle cleanser tends to not clean enough, I'd probably stick with normal, since it has a good track record.

Please do not leave a bad review since you ordered the wrong one! With a very sensitive/oily skin type and cystic acne, I have a problem. I use this face wash only to get rid of excess moisture and clear my skin. This product is awesome, and I recommend it to everyone. To the people who left 1/2/3 stars because you bought the wrong one, I apologize. Perhaps you should try reading more? When I used the other Cetaphil wash, I did the same thing and did not leave a bad review. The mistake I made is now apparent to me. All of their products come in the same packaging. You need to pay.
Of course, this wasn't the gentle cleanser I've been using for years and I thought it was the creamy version. I was unaware of a different version for some reason, perhaps simply because I have been using that application for years. I ordered the "daily cleanser" since it is different from what I normally use. The product is NOT the same as Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, despite the fact that it has close to the same name and comes in an exact replica packaging. On the label, this product says it's for facial cleansing. I bought it for my wife, so she can wash her face. In its initial state, I noticed the strong odor of artificial fragrance, which is extremely uncomfortable for the user. I would suggest returning this product immediately and obtaining the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser instead, which does not have a strong smell.
However, this is only a facial cleanser, not the body wash as well. It's still not one I'll go back to. Instead, I'll probably stick with this one. There has never been a softer feeling on my skin! I dislike the smell, the fact that my eyes sting, the light foams, and the tight feeling my skin gets after using it. A gentle facial cleanser, such as the Gentle Facial Cleanser, has fewer ingredients, doesn't sting my eyes, doesn't foam up, leaves my skin feeling soft, and can be wiped off with a towel after use. It's recommended that you use this facial cleanser.
