It seems I have seborrheic dermatitis close to my scalp and on my forehead.
I've used countless steroid foam treatments, liquids, gels, and $60 bottles of shampoo. In addition, I have some rosacea and a lesser degree of acne This is better- On my face, I have perfect skin. My friend and I bought this dish soap and I started scrubbing the area with the soap itself and noticed some pretty decent results right away! I woke up the next day to a slight pink color in the area near my hairline that is often bright red and irritated. You may think I'm the only one who washes my hair with soap, but if you haven't done so yet, If there are any spots that need extra attention, rub the soap directly onto them. While the soap seems to last quite a long time, I also mix it up as needed. I find my hair and skin are quite dry, and while it did not dry them out too much, it did not hydrate them Out of the many products I've tried for my hair and skin issues, I think this one was the best for the price, it was easy to use (DUH), and it wasn't an expensive prescription I had to fill or follow up on. The skin on my face has always been extremely oily and I have suffered from rosacea for many years. While browsing the web, I found an interesting discussion about a compound called zinc pyrithione, used in dandruff shampoos, that has the unique ability to tell your sebum glands that it is time to get rid of it. It didn't seem like a big deal, so I decided to give it a go. Because I neither wanted to use a dandruff shampoo on my face nor wanted to use a zinc pyrithione shampoo, I found the Vanicream product. Despite its claim, it does not drier my face instead, I would consider my skin at a more normal level. Rosacea is affected by it somewhat, but it is not a cure for it. This gentle face wash is gentle enough for me to use it every day without any problems. There were some cases where it worked for a few days then we would wake up one morning to a rash. Considering that you are buying a whole bar of soap, it is a bit pricey. In my opinion, if nothing else has worked to keep the reoccurring rashes at bay, then this is well worth the money. The only thing I regret is not giving this a try earlier. My thought was that this bar wouldn't make any difference because the previous 2 Z-level bars were not as effective I was not able to get results from the bar brands I tried. The treatment was not effective because they caused inflammation and the drying was worse than usual. A terrible thing. My dermatologist and I regularly see each other to deal with my several skin issues. Recent problems I've noticed include severe itchiness and healing sores that don't seem to go away. Vanicream products have done well for me in the past and I was hoping the Z bar would do the same. After knowing it would arrive shortly, I was going to use it for a few days rather than the drawer of prescription creams. I've had the treatment for a little over a week now, and my face is almost entirely satisfied. Aside from the itch, there are no This is beyond my wildest dreams.
I wish I could buy that soap for less. It works for my back and chest, but you have to let it sit on your skin for a few minutes which is very hard and cold, and I couldn't get enough moisture after using it.
