I've been washing my face with Purpose facial bars since I was a teenager, more than 20 years ago. My dermatologist prescribed it for my mild acne. Since then, it has aided in the maintenance of my skin's balance and clarity. It cleans your skin without making it oily, and it doesn't cause breakouts (it's non-comedogenic). The scent is less than desirable, smelling like medicine and having a clinical scent, and a bar lasts a long time (comedogenic). But nothing else has consistently worked for my face, and I'm not bothered by it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the value for money. I can get a bigger bar if I go to the store. store for around the same price as if you bought them separately. However, the time saved by not having to go to the store right now is well worth it. I've been using Purpose soap on and off for over 20 years, so I was skeptical when I saw on the label that it's now made in Canada and not by Johnson and Johnson. I emailed Johnson and Johnson, and they confirmed that this other company now makes Purpose bar soap. These bars have the same scent and feel as Johnson & Johnson's soap. It appears that the formula is the same. I would purchase this item again.

I used Neutrogena soap for years because I had mild skin issues, but after hearing about purpose, I never went back. I like how the bars come in two sizes. It's a glycerin soap bar, which I really like. It lasts a long time, even longer than others, if kept out of the water.

I was introduced to this soap by a friend about three years ago, and I used to be able to buy it in stores, but now I can't find it anywhere, and it's the only one I'll use, so I love this seller, and their prices are much lower than in stores. This soap is great for people who have sensitive skin or acne, but be aware that it will leave you feeling dry. Every shower, I continue to use it. It can be used solely on the face. Use it three times per shower if you have acne. Rinse after application. Apply, rinse, apply, leave on for 2 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and the spots should disappear in 2 days at most.

If you could ever use, this would be the best. For many years, I have been a supporter of this soap. It appears to be becoming increasingly difficult to locate in stores, so I'm grateful Amazon had it. It's great for all types of acne, deep cleansing, wound healing, and shaving.
