Processing of Shea Butters tends to change its color from whitish to a creamy white, but that is not always
Melting is required for this product, as is the case for any shea butter you buy. A pleasant touch is given by this product, as it is not grainy. I like it a lot!
In my opinion, that is what organic means.

In addition, The fact that I do not write reviews is not It is possible that this review might be helpful to someone who is looking for an actual shea butter from Aside from using it as a moisturizer, we use raw shea butter to treat arthritis back home in Africa. Any place on your body where you are experiencing joint pain (FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY) can be rubbed with this. Shea butter was my daily moisturizer in my home country for over 35 years before I moved to the U. S. It is, however, so disappointing what people have been given in the name of shea butter by some sellers. Furthermore, buyers do not always want the Shea butter that has its natural aroma/fragrance since they say it is too smelly. The scent is the aroma from the raw organic nut from which it is derived, and that aroma is what constitutes its natural healing properties as well as its moisturizing qualities. In other words, the more “smelly” my sweet home shea butter is, the more I love It is because of this smell that we call it shea butter, much like peanut nut butter has its own aroma. It is best for me to use shea butter that smells more intense and that was regarded more highly by me than a milder shea butter As the buyer, it is up to them to decide how toxic chemicals they want to ingest in order to remove that "scent" or "smell" It may be bleached to destroy its beneficial components) ( I was so surprised when I opened the box of this Shea butter and the first thing I smelled was the thick wave of amazing aroma of real natural Shea butter that I have been using for decades back home in West Africa. I really liked this since we found it to be very fresh, the consistency and color of it to be perfect. My skin felt moisturizing, as it should, without being greasy, as it remained what it should be real shea butter that is not excessively oily. I have no doubt that this is the original raw shea butter from Africa, as it is organic. Back home, there is a forest Over the past few years, I've heard more and more about organic within the U. S. also the original color of raw Shea butter We sometimes add palm oil to our meals. I used to apply red oil to it back home, but I prefer the natural color now- Besides ivory, the color is yellow. Due to the white color of "shea butter" which is bleached, I am not willing to call such butter shea anymore, due to my heritage and no offense intended. Shea butter is my favorite because it doesn't contain seeds, it needs to be melted over a double boiler to work. The shelf life of some items may be quoted as 2 years by sellers out of fear. My experience indicates that Shear butter does not go bad unless there are other external chemical reactions or due to extreme temperatures it didn't go bad in any of the cases I've seen. Although I have been using the same shea butter for years, I keep it away from sunlight when I am away from home. I'm feeling lighter. When I hide my shea butter, I tend to hide it in my closet or wherever I can keep it dark and at a In no way did I receive any compensation for writing this review, nor did I have time to write one, but I felt the need to tell of the goodness of this Shea butter, at least to encourage the seller to continue providing excellent service. Those who are looking for original shea butter may find some help from this. It would be a waste of time to send back some fake items that say they are from Africa, like shea butter or black soap from Africa, but this one is a real West African shea butter that I obtained directly from my homeland.
To begin my lip balm business, I bought a block of shea butter. I made a small batch of test batch of shea butter and the scent was kind of burned, even if a little smelly. As well as the lip balm, the liquid I made carried that smell. did a google search and I'm afraid there is a batch that has expired. However, I did not see an expiration date on the package. It is supposed to be good for 2 years. The item is being sent back. I will update this review as soon as I receive it back. I have updated The seller refunded me for the item quite quickly and I received an email from them thanking me for my return. It was very professional and I had no trouble As I took my time to research, I realized that smell was shea butter UNREFINED! I'm sorry for making this shop look bad. The smell was not bad, I was just paranoid. I re-ordered it and it didn't smell bad. Thanks for reading my review, I hope it helps someone.
researching shea butter and different companies for weeks, I found Essential Depot and purchased shea butter from them. We are offering an AUTHENTIC shea butter here! There is a nutty roasted (some say burnt) smell, which is what authentic shea butter should smell like. I personally love the smell because it makes you feel better knowing that it is all natural and unadulterated. you are bothered by its natural smell (roasted or burned), real shea butter will not be ideal. As stated in the reviews that states it smells burned, this is because year after year they have been using FAKE shea butter. The box clearly shows the expiration date of the shea butter on Essential Depot, which in turn leads them to think this shea butter is rotten, spoiled, etc. In addition to the authenticity of the shea butter, Essential Depot also clearly states the authenticity of the shea butter. While expedited shipping is a bonus, the wait will be well worth it for this shea butter. My future orders from this company are DEFINITELY set to come from this company. I will continue to order from Essential Depot as long as they continue to sell quality shea butter.
If anyone experiences an issue with their order, give Essential Depot a chance to fix it since their customer service is.
I just received the raw shea. I like the fact that it is really soft and pliable, it isn't grainy, and it has a The product is excellent. I will buy it It is of very high.
The difficulty in finding a firm like this is unthinkable. I received an outstanding batch of Shea butter, it's the best, and I am so glad to have it. you for your kind words!.
I received cocoa butter instead of shea butter when I received it in the mail. My nose immediately filled with the scent of cocoa butter when I opened the bag. My skin responded to it as if it were Shea butter, but I definitely could tell it wasn't. My only reason I did not return the cocoa butter is because I had so many orders for whipped sugar scrubs to fulfill that I just ended up substituting the shea butter for it. Despite my dissatisfaction, I'll take what I can get. It is more likely than not that I will continue to purchase from my Atlanta-based vendor.
The quality of the Shea butter was not the same as before. It appears to be going bad and has double-sided coloring.
That's a good read.
